  1. "And for the record, Coach Luttrell's Raiders have produced a 30-1 district record so far in two years. I'd have to say he is certainly as much a great coach and class act as anyone else mentioned on here. It aint the water in Lumberton! And he certainly wouldn't come on here and talk about any body else in a negative manner either." i completely agree. Thats the only thing coach L talks about when stuff goes wrong. He tells us to respond instead of react, and to play with class no matter what. A few times the team, or individuals rather, stoop down to our opponents level, and everyone gets punished for it. I think its made us a better ball club. I like the way things are happening at lumberton.
  2. dont rag on the lumberton players for what the coach does. i do believe nederlands coach cried the whole game about the first goal. even after the game was over, he continued to argue, like he had a better perspective on that ball than the AR, who was standing even with the goal. but that doesnt justify lumbertons coach in anyway. no one can help the way their coach acts. and i'm sure lumberton players are just as sick of it as everyone else, they hear it more. overall, great game. First half was nederlands by far. Second half was more even. Great opportunities on both sides, lumberton, however, capitolized. props to both teams. i'm also glad to see both teams players keep their composure, even with the game being a very rough one. lots of pushing and shoving from both sides, but it was good to see the players act mature and show good sportsmanship through it all.
  3. wow..impressive game HJ..No matter whether your putting players in unusual spots, or putting in the whole second string, the score should be more than that against HJ, especially for a team of Vidor's level. No offense to HJ. Vidor is a very good team, and for HJ to step up that big says alot for those boys. They've been getting pounded all season, its about time they showed some fight. Major props to HJ. Keep that up, and you'll upset some major teams..
  4. agreed.. great, dominating first half by lumberton.. great, dominating second half by png.. not a very brilliant night for lumberton.. i do believe most the raiders had their heads down after this game..
  5. how does lumberton have such a big lead?
  6. #2 has a problem with his mouth, and attitude. He's a great player, but voices his opinion way too much. When the ref confronted him though, he was standing quietly, and the ref jumped his case, and no one on either team could figure it out. The ref was calling some bogus calls against lumberton though. Kinda frustrated everybody. The whistle was heard alot throughout the second half. It was definitely a tough game for both teams. The ball was moved decently by both teams. Lumbertons defense was pretty solid tonight, as was LCM's. But neither team could find the net. There were very few shots on goal, and some great saves by Lumbertons keeper. Overall, a very close game, and the sportsmanship between both teams throughout the game was as good as i've ever seen.
  7. i think this will be a very close game. I say who ever the winner is, will be in over-time, or by one goal. But not by much more.
  8. Tonights game was a good game for lumberton. Taylor G. scored off an assist by mark brackin. The score at half time was 1-0. The next goal was an own goal by one of lumbertons defenders. Taylor G had another finish up off of johnathon bells shot that shot down from the crossbar. Mark Murrill had a gorgeous shot from about 25 yards out and floated it in the upper left corner. Brent Waldrup dribbled one pretty much all the way to the goal for a 4-1 lead. The whole bench came in with about 5 left in the match. The field was in HORRIBLE shape. Standing water was everywhere on the field. Great win for lumberton.
