  1. when i first read that someone said "tucker" was the best pitcher ever i literally laughed out loud 'cos i thought you were talking about my good friend, tucker muckleroy. hahahahahaha tuck muck had a nastyyyyy curveball but not the bulk to back up that fastball of his.
  2. buna has a lot of good players, i'll give them that easily. but the same players that couldn't hold up in the state tournament last year? most of them got a bumped and bruised during the football season too. those shoulders usually don't feel to great when you land on them a lot. kirbyville is finally getting some spotlight during baseball season in years. no matter how far we go, it'll be a big step towards what we have in the future. get ready buna, keep your tails between your legs.
  3. hazlewood from kirbyville was an all district catcher as a freshman in the 2006 season. then he just kinda took off his sophomore and junior year? replaced, you could say that. but he's the ace pitcher now. he could have been a stand out player if sticking with it would have been an obligation. say-la-vi
  4. we all know how kirbyville has just had a total meltdown in the 2007 and 2008 baseball seasons. but all of a sudden we beat the #1 seed in 2A baseball in our first year in the classification? where are we heading? let me hear your opinions.
  5. volleyballer, or should i say you're posts are really bad and don't make much sense. kirbyville came up and beat buna, i'll throw BAD in there just for kicks. but seriously, why dog on kirbyville so bad when you're from buna? you've tried to hit every tender spot that you could so far when it just so happens that kirbyville's current AND past athletics is stronger than buna's has ever been. i guess the mature way to put things is, "na na nu boo boo, we beat you". grow up.
  6. look, later that night after the game i went to whataburger and i was talking to a few of my friends who happen to be on jasper's football team. they said, "it was a good game, but it was a fair game." sooooo, that means, jasper lost fair and square. diddydawg, quit whining.
  7. i'm just saying man. you were wrong, and i was right.
  8. obviously, the guy who started this doesn't know what he's talking about. 'cos he left out some key plays in all of those teams. statisticly, the best teams ever were 1970, 1985, and 2007 Kirbyville football teams. 1970-Bubba Bean All State Running Back Craig Malone All State Offensive Tackle Danny Peters All Area Nosegaurd a linebacker, can't remember his name. 1985-i truthfully don't remember any of their names. they went 11-2 though. 2007-Pierce Rhodes RB/LB Randy Musgrove WR Broderick Jackson RB/SS Aaron Hazlewood QB Chris Samuel OL/DL Ryan Jones OL/DL just a lot of standout players 2004(10-3) and 2005 (9-4)were also good seasons too, but with rough patches.
  9. 2A tennis? strikes fear into the heart of many. oh so competative.
  10. cato and delome didn't play district. delome didn't get too. don't toot your own horn on setxsports, that's ridiculous.
  11. i really don't think buna will compete at all. with a mediocre quarterback the only stand out returning on offense, the ball isn't going to move very much. with my boy #20 and that other big running back (brian holmes? not sure), the primarily running game focused offense of buna's doesn't stand a chance. blanton is good and all. but to compete with east chambers, kountze, and hardin's strong teams next year. prove me wrong. i dare you.
  12. kirbyville with the ball in the air is going to be hard to beat. kirbyville by 20
  13. kirbyville players QB-Aaron Hazlewood (1500+ passing as sophomore and junior) RB/SS-Broderick Jackson (1st team all district RB as junior in, 1st team all district as sophomore and junior at SS) RB/LB-Barry Burley (big defensive player, injury prone as junior) WR-Randy Musgrove (1000+ receiving as junior) RB/FS-Fred Rhodes (big player on both side of the ball as a sophomore) LB-Stefan Jackson (100+ tackles as freshman last year) OL-Frank McMickell (all district center) WR/Rover-Josh Hughey (tall, speed, and good hands)
  14. we picked up deweyville for our first scrimmage. it should be a total massacre.
