PNG wins in a close hard fought game. Good luck to both teams!

No one is making fun of Dayton's stadium, for the size of your city it is an impressive accomplishment!Many schools I'm sure are jealous of your field. The PNG fans that will probably have to stand to watch the game are just venting frustrations about not getting to sit down at such a big game. We look forward to being in Dayton to see 2 great teams play a hard fought game. Win or lose, we will be proud of our team for all their accomplishments this year. No prediction from me, but i bet someone in purple and white will win.

On the contrary, I was at the LCM game last year, but PNG Fans stayed until the end of the game, Good or Bad. Those kind of games could happen on any given Friday Night. We Support Our Team no mather what the outcome of the game is. HONOR, PRIDE,TRADITION. Win or lose, We will applaud our team from the stands for their effort!

Maybe Dayton should sit on the visitor's side and let PNG fans sit on the home side, even the Astrodome thought the lower level would be enough seats for the PNG fans, but had to open up another level for a 2nd round playoff game in 1999.

PNG hands down, it's infectious,whether your a PNG fan or not. I remember watching the Friday Night Experience tape of a PNG playoff game in Conroe a few years ago, the camera was on the visitor's sideline & they showed a coach and a little boy, Cherokee was playing and the little boy was moving to the music and the camera filmed him until the Father told him to stop. He was enjoying the music's beat and enthusiam of the fans, he was too young to know it was the other team's music.

I called the ticket office at PNGISD and they said the game is Monday Oct 29 at Barber's HIll at 7 p.m.

When and Where does PNG play, the Bracket only says oct 29-30. Does anyone know?

I don't know any High School that writes their own school fight song music, isn't your fight song Texas A&M's fight song?????

No we didn't invent Cherokee or the tomahawk, we just don't steal other High School's traditions.

Also don't forget the Stephenville cans tradition, that you took from the PNG vs Stephenville State Championship Game in 1999. The Next year, it was all the rage at Nederland. :o

Vidor always plays PNG tough and physical at home, but this is not Vidor's year, the Indians are hungry for a playoff spot and are taking it one game at a time.Looking forward to seeing the best Homecoming Halftime in southeast Texas!!! If Lumberton brings their A game, then they will win big! They were definitely the best team PNG has faced this year.(including LaMarque & Nederland). Good Luck to Lumberton, See You in the Playoffs!!
