I think a one game set is advantage LCM!!!!!!!!! My son plays for PNG and I was at both games. The key is not to let Brenham see your pitcher more than once through. It was the 3rd time through when they figured out Branden, they made adjustments at the plate every at bat, it was the same thing with Cody and Taylor, make no mistake this team can swing it. With that said I think there is enough difference in the pitching styles of the LCM staff that LCM can keep Brenham off balance. This team is beatable but they believe that they are unbeatable and they never let up. As I said before they make great adjustments at the plate. I have not said much about thier defence because the hitting was so good, but the defence is solid. THe pitching is above average, the ace #14 LHP 85-89mph,good breakimg pitch, the 2 RHP #9 and I can not rember ok fast ball, ok breaking pitch, the LHP #3 is nasty,87-90 mph fast ball, and split finger from well you know where. I hope this is useful,it may not be what you have been hearing but this what I seen when PNG played them and I was watching pretty close, GOOD LUCK LCM The McInnis will be pulling for you guys, We will not be able to be at the game.

C mire 2/3 3run HR and 2RBI 2B, B Powell 2/4 3RBI 3B & 1RBI 2B, J Bouigeouis 2B, P Fasler 2 1Bs, T McInnis,B Buchanan,E Harrington,all had 1 1B. These numbers are pretty close I may off by a hit or two and the same can be said on the RBIs. Taylor Mcinnis Pitched 5 innings faced 16 batter, 10Ks, 0 hits, 1E, another great defencive preformance by the PNG defence and it was great to see the ball getting hit hard. Something to build on, just keep getting better at the plate and things will work out.

This game is what 20-4A baseball is all about. Branden, Zack, Bou, and Maddison all pitched good enough to get a win,and both teams played good enough to win, Nederland got a clutch hit at the right time and that was the difference. If you were not there you missed the best high school game I have seen in along time you just had to be there to be there, The best part of the game is it ended on a hit not a call by the umpires, because the guy behind the plate was bad for both teams and that is a shame but Micha got the hit and the rest is history. I would just like to say thanks to the Nederland team, coach and fans as well as the PNG team, coach and fans of which I am one for great night at the ball park, AWESOME GAME Congrats Nederland,

All of West Brook will be in our throughts prayers. SO TRAGIC. I pray that God grant all of these families & students the strength to get through this tragic time.

Just for the record PNG has played 7 games in the reg season 33innings pitched 134 BF, 19 H no homeruns given up 11 wks, 59 Ks and 8 ERs, for an ERA of 1.67 this between Harwood, McInnis, Mire, Powell. Harwood and Mire has the most innings pitched at this point, but Powell was nasty vs Lumberton, McInnis is the 1st relife or closer on this staff and is throwing as hard as any one I have seen pitch this year with a nasty curve ball. The record for this team can not be blamed on pitching the whole problem is hitting. With that said I would put this staff up aganist any staff on any team. I would think if you ask any team that has faced any of PNG pitchers they would tell they are pretty good. Back to Sparks this is a great kid that has worked for a long time as well as alot of other kids and it is great to see and hear him getting some long over due respect and recognition !! good luck with HF and the rest of the season.
