i believe with backs like this silsbee should be running more. any touch can go the distance. balanced is always better in my opinion. they may be trying to hide a vulnerability in some other area however.

does anyone know why castle doesn't get more touches in a game. is he hurt? he had some very powerful runs last year & now we don't give him the ball much at all. i wish they would work with split backs again sometime then defense must look at barnes, castle & johnson. all gifted & talented backs.

Silsbee @ WOS. keeping my fingers crossed that the tigers show up ready & play mistake free football. Love to watch Chris Castle run, power, speed, balance, & determination. will need all of the above going against a tough as always WOS defense.

1997 Silsbee over WOS

silsbee's defense is suspect. lot's of weapons on offense. tiger fan all the way, but we must keep turnovers to a minimum. silsbee wins 28-21 if less than 3 turnovers.

OF over Silsbee would be a shocker, but one that is possible if Silsbee continues to turn the ball over. Silsbee has a lot of talent on offense with an up & coming sophomore at QB but they do leave the ball on the turf more than they should. Castle is an excellent RB with power & quickness. Defense is very young & needs to be much more agressive.
