man im really hopin that the games dont get canceled this week. i really like the watchin this rivalry. but it looks like hurrican ike is gonna ruin everything for us.

i was really pullin for newton to win this game, and i think they deserved to win it as well. but you can make those big mistakes in the playoff ecspecially against a team like tatum. but great season newton, just rebuild and be a powerhouse again next year.

yea that was a pretty slick play, and i dont know if that could work on varsity.

of course we realize who we're losing, but mcdonald didnt play the last game. Trammel and Thomas are def. our biggest lose, and any ec fan will tell u that. after the hardin game i figured people would actaully have seen that ec can win without Thomas. but i guess the only way we'll prove to yall non-believers is come back next year just as strong, and shut all of yall up. topdawg has to be from deweyville, werent yall picked to make the playoffs this year?? and how can u have the top 3 teams from this year picked to be at the bottom half of the district next year?? you have to be smoking something to post something like that. well then footballfan who r u predicting to win the district next year??

i read that mart took hamilton too lightly. not warmin up right, goofin off in the locker room, etc. etc. i think they may have already been thinkin about that state game. when your in the playoffs you can never take a team lightly. you always have to take it one game at a time. congrats hamilton!!! best of luck to mart next year in 1A, i know yall will dominate.

well if he cant keep his players focused on big games like that, then hes not gonna be able to do to much of anything.

if u talkin about like an all-star game between 23-2A and 24-2A. I think 24-2A would sweep the floor with 23-2A, no doubt!!!

dont get me wrong, im rootin for the cougs, but in a earlier post they said that buna picked to play on turf. yes its cool to play on turf, but when your playin NEWTON thats just a bad decision. but if they werent right, and newton picked to play in lufkin that was a smart choice by them.

now just think about this for a second....Newton and Buna both step on the field at 7 ocklock......and...the turf advantage only works for newton?? Sure there WILL be a speed advantage...but both teams will be faster on turf.so all in all...theres not really a difference. they gotta play on the same surface.

yea he scored twice on yall hurt, and my grandma couldve thrown to those wide open receivers, so what does that say about yalls defense. he may have had over 100 receiving hards, but how many yards and touchdowns did he avg. before that game??

Lionheart are you just a complete dumb@$$?? y dont u go look at some of ur post on the predictions of ec and hardin. ur one of the ones that was sayin instead of the ec bucs they were the ec thomas'. who ever was saying that thomas was the whole team is not from ec. people who actually go watch the bucs play will tell u that thomas is not the team.
