Why dont we take care of week 10 first then week 11 and so on, you guys do this stuff every year, you get so worked up for 3 weeks on one team and if we lose you get mad and throw a fit. We are doing very good right now, our passing game is getting better and the team has high morale. Cut the crap about Giddings, Giddings who- last time I checked we play Bridge City next, whos to say that we will play Giddings, quit looking so far ahead and focus on what you have today! CHUMPS

I personally think that a merger between these schools would happen only if WW3 blew up everything else in the U.S. except for the 4! Last but not least: WO-S = 7-1 BC = 0-8 LCM = 1-7 OF = 2-6 I think we'll be just fine with our own team! ;D ;D ;D

Thats exactly why you took yours in football season, 65-0 is a lot worse than a whooping in basketball, in your defense though it is very embarrasing either way, the only difference is that in a football game there are a lot more people there to see it! Oh and then they replay it on "THE TAILGATE PARTY" good luck in basketball and baseball though !

I believe that the ultimate priority is to place God first. The Bible says "Seek Ye First the kingdom of GOD and all of these things shall be added unto you". Think about it, how can you go wrong by doing this simple act of reverance for the LORD. I also think that it would be cool to see the teams run out, and pray in the middle of the field after doing so they could then get all psyched and pumped up!!!! That would be cool. ;D

I believe that they will get better with time, just how long it will take, I have no idea? I figured that they would be on a roll after beating the snot out of Houston Kashmere! I guess that they can use this as a rebuilding phase.

what does that mean "go to state" we won a good game 2 night but the problem for you guys started when the ref gave the kats our fumble on the first play of the second half and then let the kats keep theirs 3 plays later, I believe that made a bunch of stangs mad. The stangs will come to play, #18 is my cousin and he will not be locked up, even if you do then #6,#7#9and #11 are to be dealt with. OOPS! I almost forgot #24 and #20 they are pretty dang good buddy, no one is disrespecting the KATS, they are a very good team, but like said before dont let the QB get to rolling because the avalanche is sure to come. I hope that this is a clean game with few penalties and that both sides play fair because their was some trash talking in pre season but the coaches made both teams straighten that out!

Let me say this one more time for the people here who dont seem to understand this comment! Last week our QB made some good improvment on his passing, "If this is the week that he gets his timing and loft on the ball down to where it should be, it could be very bad for the kats, if not then once again it will be a fight" It will come down to who has the least amount of turnovers and who really wants it. I believe in my stangs and after watching our QB throw a 50 yard pass that seemed to never get above 10 ft. off the ground, then bounce and roll to the dang high jump pit, Oh yeah this kid has a cannon!!! Kville better watch out because this loss could be the downfall of their season. I am very sure this game will be exciting, LETS GO STANGS!!! :o

If our QB can dial in those long passes then it will be a great night for the stangs. He has a great arm, especially since he is only a junior and has a lot of growing up left to do. I believe we had at least three TD passes that were barely overthrown last week, that would have changed the game completely. I am not really sure what Kirbyville looks like this year, but when you stack the revenge that they want from last year, their home field and pierce rhodes in the backfield, I think it adds up to one great game. Our defense is good this year, and I think that they are ready for the challenge, I just cant wait for our offense to hit all all cylinders! If that happens then the mustangs will have a good ride home back to the stables! ;D ;D

Hey bearbacker, if you have time to read all of my old posts then you need to get a life. I am a mustang fan, but I am also a high school football fan. Just being real here, I hate to see this happen to them year after year they were much improved this year against my team but that game is not the point, I was just saying that it must be hard for them when they should be in the race for the playoffs each year and end up being let down. Get mad if you want to, i just like football and had a conversation with a friend of mine that just left lcm for scouting because this is his region, and instead of talk about this kid or that kid being able to play, all that they wanted to convey was how close they played west orange, he is not a mustang and didn't really care, he was there scouting and the whole conversation was wo-s I just think that it is wrong! but oh well you guys will say iam starting mess on lc-m so let me get off the board! ??? ???

These guys have played very hard this season, they have the new state of the art jumbo tron, their fans are very into the game like never before. The school has a modified chant from Odessa that they call BOJO, they were picked this year as having the nicest jerseys in the area, they bought the mascot from a liquor store and made it their beacon of hope. They now have guy cheerleaders that root their team on to victory with Fire trucks ready to blast sirens at the sight of "another battlin bear first down". After all of this their record is 1-3, I am sorry but something has got to give, does Moody even listen to what his assistants have to say about playcalling or give an open ear to new ideas. These kids work too hard to have to end up on the downside of the scoreboard week after week! > >

I have been on a shutdown, right now I am on day 13 in a row. I am tired as heck and ready to be off but it looks like I will be here until next weekend also, so I guess I will be out of it for a while still but hey it's better to have a job than to be at home broke!

I say wo-s by whatever miracle happens on offense, right now we are overthrowing wide open recievers, fumbling and running the same 4 plays over and over again. I love my STANGS and I cant wait for them to rise to the level of play that I know they can accomplish, it will come, but with time. These are good kids and good coaches I guess that we as fans seem to always expect perfection as soon as season starts but that can not happen every single year. I will say this though beware of when they pick up speed cause their comin, and all of hell will be let loosed!!! Oh yeah stop the 45-0 and the wo-s by alot predictions because in my opinion we have not earned that right yet, in the famous words written on the weight room wall, "Dont Tell Me, Show Me". :o
