Ok, BC and Splendora will play Friday at 5 PM in Nederland. HJ and Liberty will play their game 1 at 7PM at BH Friday. If BH field is to wet then HJ will play at Nederland following the BC game.

Lamar State College-Port Arthur will have an open tryout camp for the 2007-08 Seahawks women's softball team at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, on Martin Field, 1000 Lakeshore Drive on the LSC-PA campus. The tryouts are open to 2007 high school seniors and students currently enrolled or planning to be in college in the fall. The Lamar State Seahawks compete in Region XIV, a Division I conference of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The college has some scholarships available for the coming year. Interested players are asked to fill out the Student-Athlete questionnaire on the Softball page of the Lamar State College-PA website: www.lamarpa.edu.
