This is about the time of the season that Splendora usually decides that it's time to play ball and runs off a streak that puts them in the playoffs. Don't be shocked if they give KP a good battle.

Hardin went to Woden, then Woden went to Hardin in '87. Both were non-district games.

I am confused. Who beat Woden twice and in what year? It was not '87. Woden beat Hardin by 30 the first time and about 10 the second time. Then Hardin beat Woden at Woodville. The kid from Broaddus was Harold Hale.

Yea, takes me back too. Our post had mono and another starter got his ankle broken in the last district game. We looked past Hardin and it cost us our season.

The battle inside should be a good one, Coldspring has a beast as well. If this game is close, free throw shooting could spell the end of the Trojans. The team that dictates the tempo will win this game.

It shouldn't be that much of a shock. They are young, but the kids came from the Humble/Kingwood middle schools. They improved every game and are well coached. That being said, Silsbee by 7.

Splendora has gotten spoiled a little over the past few years. They were a little down this year, but "outcoached", I didn't see that. Ask around, Coach Vela is one guy that gets the most out of his players night in and night out.

Tight game, not sure who wins, but I'll say not more than five points either way.

Tarkington definitely has a tough task. If that scenario did play out, Tarkington and KP would be tied and have a playoff.

Tarkington could mathematically catch K Park, but not likely. Cleveland (9-1)and Coldspring (9-2) don't play again, and Cleveland swept them, so Coldspring would need help to catch them.

That score is incorrect for Tarkington vs Splendora. I think that it was 30-23, but it was not a one-point game for sure.

King gymnasium is a tough place for an opponent to get a win. Just another example of what a good job Coach Gleghorn does at Woden. Not much was expected of this team, but it looks like another playoff season.

Woden should be in the mix.

Heard that Cleveland beat Coldspring, anybody know a score?

The playoff chase should be intense this year and one slip could be the difference. Should be fun to watch.
