The meeting was attended by MB and the school board only. Also he mentioned how many players were nominated for the super team. How about mentioning how many were nominated from the other teams. Funny,how big ned is always picked to win district,yet they have not won a out right district championship since Neumam has been there. If only one team went to the playoffs [like the old days] Ned would have been sitting home from the playoffs all of Neumans era.

Vidor wins big. But Mathews is not doing the team any favors scheduling 2 private schools and a 3a team in preseason. I believe none of the teams have won a game. they may be shocked when they line up against a 4a team.

Texas city is a great challenge for the ndns. They are ranked as high as #2 in the state.They beat state champion Lamar and 5a Alvin where their back rushed for over 300yds. Win or lose PNG will a face a team as good or better as any team in 20-4a. It will only make them better barring injuries. I go with the ndns by 1. But they will have to play perfect and watch out 204a, because these battle tested ,young and always on-the-road ,warriors are coming.

hey coop the 2nd half kick off was actually the kick after PNG scored. They missed png stopping crosby and then scoring. They missed about 9:00 ofthe third qtr. Maybe you can let them know before it airs on t v. They do a great job. thanks tor putting it on here for us.

WE HAD A KID FROM BC COME IN, BUT I THINK HE IS PLAYING MIDDLE LB & 2ND TEAM FULLBACK. BY THE WAY, WE BEAT LUMBERTON 6-13 AND THE NEXT DAY BEAT VIDOR BY AT LEAST 3 TD'S, MAYBE MORE, I GOT THERE LATE. WE PLAY LUBERTON {THERE} I THINK TUES. TATUM IS A FORCE. THE BASEBALL PLAYERS THAT CAME BACK LOOKED GOOD. LYNCH, SPIKES AND DEROUEN.{I'M SURE I MISSED SOME PLAYERS} DEROUEN CAUGHT A 45 YARD BOMB TO END THE GAME AT VIDOR. LINEMEN WERE ALSO IMPRESSIVE IN SOME DRILLS THEY HAD AGAINST VIDOR.

I hope Lumberton does well. But one good year doesn't make you a state title contender. Wake up and worry about getting to the playoffs first.

They actually played three halves. W.O. won the 1st game {2 half's} by a td.Then they played 1 half, W.O. scored once on an int, but didn't complete the extra point. PNG scored on a pass and made the extra point. So I guess you can say PNG won the 2nd {1 half game} 7 - 6. It took a little while for PNG to adjust to all the speed, but the defense held W.O. scoreless the last half. It will make both teams better.

IT WAS DONE LIKE A SCRIMMAGE ,BOTH TEAMS HAD THE BALL FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME,THEN THEY PLAYED A GAME. PNG AND TATUM DOMINATED THE 1ST PORTION OF THE SCRIMMAGE . TATUM WAS IMPRESSIVE, HE’S PUT ON SOME MUSCLE AND WAS THROWING BULLETS. HE SHOULD BE A THREAT RUNNING AND THROWING. OUR DEFENSE GOT AFTER O.F. AND WE HAD A BUNCH OF PICKOFFS. PNG RUNS THEIR REGULAR OFFENSE WHICH IS BASED ON PLAY ACTION WITH 2 BACKS ,WHICH MAKES EASIER FOR OPOSING DEFENSES, BECAUSE THEY DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE RUN. BUT IT WILL HELP PNG WHEN THE PADS GO ON. TATUM LEFT AFTER TWO SERIES IN THE GAME PORTION. KERR WAS QB FOR MOST OF THE GAME PART. HE STARTED OUT SLOW AND GOT BETTER AS TIME WENT ON. BENOIT WILL BE IN THE 2ND TEAM QB MIX BUT IS PLAYING BASEBALL. ALL IN ALL, I WAS IMPRESSED WITH PNG AND THE HUGE AMOUNT OF KIDS THAT WERE THERE.

What's happening to Png? They have alot of talent in that senior bunch. What happen to Bryce Burnett didn't he play last year. Also did bucahan play Friday night Did not read about him in the paper. I still would not count PNG out just yet. These kids are capable of playing good ball. just can't figure this one out?
