Certainly don't count Evadale out but who would even think to put West Hardin in. Their girls basketball is a joke. If anyone can do it Coach Cruz can but she needs more than one season. You would have to be crazy to put WH in front of HD. HD will be great this year even without a coach. They are loaded with talent this year. They just need someone to drive the bus. And don't forget Coach Cox is still the JV coach and will be there every step of the way. She won't let things drop too far. I had also heard that Big Sandy and Evadale both lost alot of talent last year. Is this true did they lose alot of seniors. Good Luck to all of the teams but watch out for H D!

You may think it seems unfair but rules and guidelines have to be made. I am sorry for these individuals but it's nice to know some ADs stick to their rules. These are the life lessons that children need to become responsible adults.

Why, MR. REALITY?

It could be anyone at this point. It would be nice if the new AD would set out to find a good coach just for the girls basketball program. I hope it is not a position filled out of convience of football and an "Oh by the way you will also have to coach girls basketball". Maybe Coach Cox will come back as varsity coach, that would be nice.

Sounds to me like he was lucky to come to his sinces in time. I just hope no one else follows in his steps. There is only one coach left from last year. These kids have to feel like they stepped into a whole new school.
