Due to the bad weather yesterday (Saturday August 16th) we will have another tryout next Sunday August 24th at the same location as below on fields D,E or F. Weather permitting. We are a second year team looking for players that are dedicated to SOFTBALL......multiple sport athletes are welcome! We are also looking for pitchers. We were one of the last teams that left field "E" Saturday night and I seen one sitting there but I thought it was for one of the teams still there. Check with Ms. Rose at the complex (City Of Beaumont Parks and Recreation) She or her crew might have put it in the building. There was a crew of her's there late emptying trash.

I saw Lil Joe play against Nederland his senior year when I was a kid, or should I say run around and over them. I believe AWSOME would best describe it . The Rogers kid from Lamar Consolidated has some of his style of running. And of course his record breaker "Jamal Charles" had some of the same instincts Lil Joe had.

I agree olddog, Their QB was a great one and we will see him on the tube soon playing at Kyle feild. But just like Mosley they are not here anymore. Now it comes down to seeing just how good our coaching staffs are. Ned going to the spread and the rest of the district making up for their stars leaving also. Some like Lumberton and LCM have good talent coming back. And yes you are correct, when you dont have a go to guy or guy's the game changes. In this district its anyones year, there is so much talent and good coaching staffs that anyone of the district teams could suprise you.
