Their picks are based on how many returning starters are back, so not really that big of a shock. Everyone knows West Brook will be young this year.

Cooper will get the start at RB for West Brook, but there are two underclassmen RBs that are very good backs. They will get plenty of chances cause I see coach Stump using a RB by committee approach this year.

The home side of Durley Stadium is always full. Also BISD is going to one stadium which means one home game in Beaumont on Friday nights so more football fans to view the game instead of dividing the fans between two or sometimes three different games. Like I said earlier Beaumont will not have a problem filling the new stadium.

West Brook is loaded with talent. It's just young talent. There are some superstars in the making on this team. After about three or four weeks of the season people will know their names! ;D The Bruins win this one by atleast two scores.

I agree with you here ! The change from last year to this year is obviously apparent ! For the better. I'm not to overly concerned with the Defense. I went to alot of the practices and and scrimmages. This is the first time in a long time that I have seen our defensive players tackle with technique and skill and shear raw force. Give the D some more practice time and they will be alot better. Remember Faircloth is a new Head Coach, but the thing he has done is surround himself with assistant coaches that are from high profile and championship teams as well these new coaches have proven themselves. That in itself lends alot to me that he is very intelligent and that PNG FOOTBALL will be a force in the district for some time to come. He pulls the most out of those men on the field. My son went to the camp for incoming freshmen. I was so impressed with the skills taught and the techniques and the excitement that was flowing all over the field and stands. I don't know what team you were watching, but the PNG I watched on youtube sucked defensively! As far as your coach goes who said he's going to be a winner? He was offensive coordinator for Permian, which hasn't won anything since friday night lights. Some Indian fans act like this guy is Tom Landry or something. It looks like the offense will be better from what I saw, but heck that's not hard to be from what you guys had last year. The defense is going to down right suck. If Barbers Hill has any type of offensive weapons they will be in this game.

Coop, any team with an average offense is going to put points on that horrible defense of PNG. Did you see all those missed and broken tackles and all those blown assignments? Nederland wins Mid-County Madness in a blowout this year!!! I really don't think PNG makes the playoffs this year.

Ozen will definitely win more than two games this season. I think Coach Nelson will have them as one of the four playoff teams out that district. If you look at that district top to bottom none of the teams are bringing back real power houses its completely up for grabs. Ozen has as good a chance as any other team in the district including Lumberton!

Should be really stout defensively. Real big and real physical. I heard they knocked Falgout out during one of the practices. Also Jalen Malone is a monster at QB.

Jalen Malone was the better freshman QB. He runs and passes very well. But you are right, I don't think Stump would start any kid over his son.
