As I have said before on other forums. I don't like shootouts. It lets room for someone to make a mistake at the wrong time. I would like to see a two TD lead by JT and Hold it.

What JT had a problem with in this last game with Lee was their huge o-line. They ran behind big #78 all night. That man child would hard for anyone to block. The other bad thing that I saw against Lee that they can't do against Lufkin. They weren't following to the ball like they been for the last month. I don't know how big the Lufkin Offensive line is, but they can't let what happened to them against Lee, continue with Lufkin.

John Tyler and Lufkin will meet in the first time in the playoffs in very long time. JT is coming off good win over their crosstown rival Robert E Lee 49-28. Now JT has to working towards their three goal of winning a state championship. First thing first getting pass the Lufkin Panthers. Thoughts?

This is the game we (Tyler fans) were talking about at the beginning of the season. Hope it would bring back times of old Cujo vs Red Raiders. This game has always been toss up. No who knows these two teams thinks one or the other will win based on their records. In this rivalry you can throw that out the window so to speak. However, the last four years both teams have won two in a row. At the moment Lee has the last two and is looking to make it three. While JT is trying to make sure that doesn't happen. Lee has a nac in beating JT when they are on big runs, and this season isn't different for JT. They come into this rivalry game on a five game winning streak. Cujo's only lose came from Rockwall; which was by only one point, bit it is something that is sitting in the back of few people's mind. Last night the feeling that it may happen again. When Horn scored 22 points in second, however, JT was able to moving in the right direction. On the other hand, Robert E Lee, has had their last three games come down to the last few moments of the game. Losing to Mesquite 57-56 then to Rockwall 42-35, and last night to North Mesquite 63-61. So, one is sure the Lee offense and put points on the board. That's what to need to do against JT. The only bad thing for Lee is that Cujo as the best defense in the district only allowing 22 points per game in district play. With all that being said let's get it started. Thoughts?
