  3. That's taken from STJFL's website. If it's supposed to be different they haven't updated it yet. Is Bmt-G DQ or being forced to forfeit?
  4. In Flag Vidor-W beat Bmt-B 21-12. PNG-W beat PNG-P but I do not know the score. Vidor-W and PNG-W will play next Saturday at 8. In Pee-Wee Ned-W beat Vidor-W 6-0
  5. Well, I was confused. I saw where someone posted that PeeWee got the new addition but I was under the impression once games started you couldn't move kids around so I wasn't sure. Is is true that they were once on the Junior Team and are now playing on the PeeWee team?
  6. Now we will all have to wait until the 31st to see how this will start to play out.
  7. What about Vidor White? They've had a decent season all year long. If I'm not mistaking they beat BMW 20-7.
  8. What would the birthday cut off for 8U football? My son turns 9 in December.
  9. I'm assuming they just haven't updated the website. I know they added him after they removed the Gray team and Benny Springs from the white team. There hasn't been any updates from the Piranha's in a couple of weeks.
  10. According to the website there will be two teams in the 9U division, one is the elite team, and the other will be 9U white, with a new coach and all new players. The coach is Larry Mynard. His son was on Gladiator Red last year I believe it was. Not sure about any coaching history he may have though,
  11. That's what we were hoping for. Thanks!
  12. 6U has become rather popular lately, just not locally. There are lots of 6 year olds playing up in 7U right now. BMTbball09-Do you know if it will be tball or if the plans are to play up into the 7U tournaments?
  13. Anyone heard if there are going to be any 6U select teams started locally for this upcoming season?
  14. I think teams should be able to play in any of the tournaments they wish.  USSSA holds world series in Sulphur, but to qualify you have to play so many tournaments in your home state.  Since the Piranha's are banned from playing local USSSA tournaments, the teams would have to travel to play to be eligible for the world series.  I know this didn't affect all of the teams, but the younger teams it does.  Nation's doesn't host a local world series from what we found, I believe they start at 9U, so the 7U & 8U kids who's team can't travel no longer have a chance to play in the world series. What kid wouldn't love the chance to do that?
  15. The reason there were not any Piranha teams playing in the recent USSSA tournament is because recently it was decided that the Piranha teams were not allowed to play in the USSSA events held at Ford Park this year. The teams were told “We will NOT be participating in USSSA Ford Park events, due to their decision to build a baseball academy right next to us.  USSSA events (or other organizations) outside of Beaumont are fine.”     But it's all about the kids, right?
