How cna you judge how good they are until you have to play them...Bridge's City's got this by 10 or more they're getting better..

Yeah they'll be better but I just hope Bridge City fan's don't look too far ahead past this season and look to the 2009 season ..The upcoming year Bridge City will have at least 25 or so Seniors and I've watched them play since they were in the 7th grade. They have talent, they just need to utilize it to the best of thier capabilities and believe in thierselves..The coaches need to give them a chance to prove thierselves from last year's Junior 0-10 season and not just put Sophomores in to start just because they're the 'future'..If they're working hard and continuing to work on football I think they can be a 6 or 7 win team..They just need to learn the defense over the off-season and have it down by the first day of practice and excel at it..The offense is fine and I think they'll be able to put up at least 2 or 3 touchdowns up on the board every game of the season next year..the only worry is about the kicking game they gotta have someone who can kick an extra point even if it's a Freshman . I think next year's team could be similar to the 2000 team that made the playoffs a year after going 0-10 in 1999.

Talk it up let's hear the predictions..I'll take Bridge City by at least 15, Hamshire-Fannett's struggling as a young team.

By looking at this poll looks like BC 7th grade has been working very hard and will probaly be the best team in SETX next year In both sports BC is dominating right now in basketball and looks to come back and get a V againts rival Orangefield This is an very exicting group to watch including the 8th grade who has only lost one game in both sports.[color=red GO BRIDGE CITY!!!!

I expect BC and HF to be a good game..... BC has one loss in dist.

BC had alot thsi year.. One's on the top of my head were two holding penalties against Kirbyville htat cost us two touchdowns when we were beating them...

So you're saying they jsut let a game slip away because they were scared?? If you're scared in a basketball game maybe you should just go ahead and give up on sports..what are they gonna do when they have to play H-J???

It's understandable when you're team just went 0-10 in football..Those Juniors that aren't playing basketball that are on the football team are trying to turn things around for thier Senior year.. you can't blame them for wanting to make BC a football school again.. That's the pride of Bridge City..

That's true... I've went to the basketball games this year and noticed a bunch of dirt all over the place in the practice field possibly for a soccer field... I've heard rumors of BC getting new turf put on Larry Ward for next year or the one after that.. does anyone know about this??

So I'm guessing no BC/Lumberton next year..

there's more than juniors on varsity... Tyler Hyde, Justin Reynolds, Mason Ellis, Justin Pittman, Cody Eldridge,.. I don't udnerstand why about 5 or 6 other Sophomores last year aren't playing basketball this year besides Breaux and Hubbard

I'm sure Breaux and Hubbard will play basketball next year as Seniors.. each of them took this year off for baseball and football, and both of them started as sophomores last year..

BC just had an off year.. I think they should keep it the same, but get someone else besides Kelly.. BC will beat Liberty next year if they play each other...
