I tell you what surprised me was, I think we had more players than Dayton did.

How did LCM look? I will get to see up close next week but I was wondering about tonight.

They looked like they were going to run all over us in the first half. Their line beat us bad on both sides of the ball in the first half.

Anyone have any comments on us continually cramping up? I didn't see the kids from Dayton cramp one time. I've never seen a trainer work so hard. I kept waiting for him to fall out with cramps. We better start eating pickles or drinking the juice.

Not to mention we got to see the back up QB and he held his own. DPG's brother came in after he was ejected and did a fine job. That boy can bust the wedge can't he? He flies in there wreckless just like you have to.

Are you saying that the final was CC 33 and LCM 14? My buddy was just telling me how they turned the program around. Is CC that good?

Never go out for swordfish. I think the biggest yellow fin we caught this year was about 70 lbs. We did catch a grouper that went 85 lbs.

Unless Coop calls in some drastic weather I don't think we're going to have a mudpit. Which means we get to see the speed on both teams.

We go out of Fourchon, La. we caught the yellow fin on poppers and the black fin on diamond jigs.

It's only a few hours away now. It is one of the games of the week for sure. I hope it plays out that way.

Hopefully it will be a little cloudy with no rain. We seem to be getting what I call "heat lightning" in the afternoons but not much rain. The rain we are getting is in the morning time or right after lunch. Not enough to have any affect on field conditions.

I talked to Deon at the WOS scrimmage last Saturday night and he was talking about how well Earl was doing. He said there was a good chance to see both of them on the corners next year.

It's been a while but I've had some good days on Lake Nac not to mention some pretty good nights also. Have you fished Pinkston. It was the place to fish years ago.

I just got back Tuesday night from a charter with Charlie Hardison. The weather was great. The moon was full and we still caught alot of fish. We were down from years past but not by too much. The yellow fin were hitting pretty good as were the black fin. We did have a problem with cuda and or sharks. It seemed to be with only the black fin though. I think we only had about 2 foot seas and we were 100 miles out.

If thats the case then I made a good decision.

I wonder when the last time someone got 400 yards against the Mustangs. I know it can happen but it seems like it has been a long time since a team has gotten 400 yards much less one player.

He is one of those kids you just like to watch run the ball.

I left in the 4th qtr but I liked the way we looked throwing the ball. It also looked like we made somewhat of an adjustment at the half and looked better in the 3rd qtr against the run.

It takes so much more than just pure talent. That guy had a ton of talent and just had bad luck with the injuries. He will find his way.

Do they have the guys to give him time to be good?

Meet with the parents before you ever meet with the kids. Tell them who you are and a little about yourself. Tell them what they can expect from you and what you expect from them. Not all kids can throw, or block but the can all hustle and pay attention. I also tell them if they have a problem with anything that I'm doing to talk to me after practice or after the game away from the kids and talk to me like an adult. I tell them if they don't embarrass me I promise not to embarrass them and then neither of us will embarass their child. This little speech has worked very well for me. I've never had a parent get out of line..........yet! Good luck and be patient.

I think you can say that any year. When cross town rivals play you just never know. I agree it could happen but it would be an upset if it did happen.
