The game is at Evadale. Kountze has no lights

Did they just recently change it in the last few hours? The original schedule had this game at Kountze and one of the head coaches called Coop earlier and told him of the game and said it was at Kountze?

The Lions travel to Evadale Friday night for a 7:30pm kickoff

New rankings will be released next Sunday, October 5 after most all teams have played a game.....

So it looks like 19-4A has moved their first district games to week 10 since that district was off that week. Then this week's district games are next tuesday and next week's games moved back a day to saturday. Then back to normal after that

but who have they played? They are 3-0 Beat Mt. Pleasant 23-19 Beat Center 26-6 Beat Carthage 21-18

23-2A added. This week's district openers will be played during the first week of the playoffs since this district has a first round bye. The rest of the district schedule is normal

Will Memorial and West Brook try to find games for the 3rd? They are both scheduled to be off that week

20-4A added

The first set of district games that were scheduled for this week will be played next Tuesday, September 30 at 7:30pm. Next week's scheduled games will be played next Saturday, October 4 at 7:30pm. After that everything is back to the normal schedule. I will have the full schedule posted on the "Ike schedule" sticky soon. This was agreed on today by the AD's from 20-4A but still has to get approval from the supers from the schools. They will more than likely approve though.

I to feel we need to wait until everyone is playing again. What could make it difficult though would be if we had some teams playing 2 games in 1 week while others are playing just 1 game. I guess we will get a better idea of what's going to happen this week when all the districts meet....

What do you guys think we should do about rankings now? Some teams are starting back while some may take 2-3 weeks before they are playing again. Should we wait until all teams are back to continue them or should we just throw them out all together this year?

You don't have to be in school to play a game you just need your team back. Buna plays saturday and they aren't back in school until next week

Orangefield had minimal damage as well. The only thing I saw messed up at the stadium was a few sheets of tin off the press box. They had the lights on yesterday I guess to repoint them. OF looks ready to go

19-4A was scheduled to start district play this week and 20-4A, 22-3A, 23-2A and 23-1A were all scheduled to start next week. Any idea when we may hear what they are going to do?

They are playing. I may be dreaming about that rule but either way it's good to see some football starting to be played again!
