  1. While Farrish may have coached your rival teams, you have to admit he's an excellent defensive coach, as evidenced by the Sens only managing 20 SOG in game 1. And in 13 years coaching in the AHL, IHL, and ECHL he only missed the playoffs twice and took Louisiana to the finals in 00-01. He was also a tough defenseman in his NHL days with the Rangers and Leafs. Ottawa is a tough team and I'm sure will give the Ducks all they want but in the end I think the Ducks will be able to wear them down. Plus Anaheim has home ice which obviously will help them if it comes down to a game 7.
  2. Ducks have everything it takes to win the cup, especially impressed with their size, putting Brad May back in the lineup certainly was a good call. And if they get Kunitz back from injury they will be tough to beat with him on first line with Selanne and MacDonald (although the rookie Miller played well in game one). Anaheim must quit taking stupid penalties however, both Sens goals in game 1 were PPG. Go Ducks, keep the cup in the USA!!!
  3. Impossible to pick just one out of the 994 games I've seen but if forced would have to pick the WOS-Jasper 3-0 game in 87. I still break out the film and watch that one every once in a while and it's still as exciting today as it was then. Also would have to include the PNG-Houston Stratford game to open the 78 season at the Reservation. Stratford won 30-28 and went on to win state with Craig James and company. Oh and I guess I can't leave out the 89 WOS-PNG game at West Orange with the Mustangs holding on for a 25-20 win before an overflow crowd. And then there is Nederland's great 36-35 comeback win over Lamar Consolidated in 89 in Rosenberg. Or maybe WOS escaping 26-20 at Vidor in 79, Pirates had chance to win very late in that game as I recall. I could go on and on.........
