I thought both teams played well and very tough. That was one of the hardest played junior games I've seen in a while, was really fun to watch.

If Ned W beats the Lum W team handedly I'd be surprised. I'd go with Ned B over the Lum R squad.

I know the Ned teams will be good they always are. I didn't get to see Lum W play much Saturday but I do know some of the kids on that team. Get back to me Monday on the cake walk CardinalPride.

CardinalPride, I'm not up on the senior division but I heard they beat up on white pretty good last night. No, I don't think it was a pee wee team. LOL! I know more about the junior and a little on PeeWee divisons. I'm looking forward to the two Junior games in Lumberton this weekend against the Ned teams.

Saw the two Lumberton teams play this weekend and the Red team plays tough D. Only saw second half of the white teams game so couldn't really judge them. The game had already been decided at that point.

The two Nederland teams go to Lumberton. Should be a good early season test for these teams, and some nice weather for the 7:00 game.

Hawk 05, If you're talking about the Lum W junior team in your comment above this is for you, The Ned W played a good game, and should be proud of themselves. The LumW team that was supposed to get crushed stopped them from scoring for three straight periods, and should be proud of themselves as well. . First off those boys played tough D, and held that team to 22 points.  Could they have scored more maybe, maybe not.   Was Ned W  the best team in junior yes, and I think everybody agrees on that.  So take a lesson from your kids and learn to win with some class.    Also by the end of the year that nobody team had a better D than that  3rd place team who beat them earlier in the year. That says a lot about those kids and their coach.    So if I'm confused on your earlier post sorry! You're a real tough guy!

I thought I had posted for the last time this year but after reading last post maybe one more! lol I don't think anyone is scared it's pee wee football for goodness sakes, they might be really excited.  Sounds like maybe a parent/coach is scared, and trying to convince themselves of something.    The Lumberton team took it on the chin early and has improved a lot.  The Ned team has looked great since day one.  All coaches tell kids to put hats on the other teams best player, so I guess they are all guilty. I still think Ned is the stronger team especially over 4 periods.    Go back to watching Oprah and get some real news to gossip about!  I'm out, good luck Sunday everyone.

That week 1 loss can sometimes be the best thing for a team and coach.   If a team did score 80 in a shootout that's fine, but in a blowout to prove a point at the expense of kids, somebody would need their a__ kicked.    Neither one of these coaches would do that, and both have well coached teams.  Good Luck Sunday!

I hope Marie is wrong on this one, and the Crew pulls off the upset. Highly unlikely but it's always fun when David can beat Goliath.

10-4, to that guys.  It's the parents that want the this Superbowl more than their kids I believe!  All this talk about the real Superbowl is when team x and y play blah blah bla...... is getting old. The Superbowl is the weekend of the 9th, and if you win all your games you will be there, and only one team will win the game not two.    All the kids will try their best win or lose, and don't need to hear their parents/coaches blaming everybody else about what should or could have been.   Good Luck

Yes all of these less talented teams are grateful that one of the two mighty teams will give them a chance to play in the Superbowl,   I heard all this last year in Pee Wee about the two great teams over there, and guess what neither one of those awesome teams won squat, and they haven't won squat this year. Will Ned white win it all this year, probably so. They are the best team I've seen this year by a good bit,   Playoffs should be fun this year good luck to everyone!  I'm out  :D

Powerhouse team keep winning all your games, and then you will deserve to make it to the Superbowl, and win.  Nobody will skate these kids still have to play the games, and some teams have improved a lot since WEEK 1. Rigged Superbowl ... stop it.  Some of you need to write Spy Novels with all these twisted plots.   The Best team will win the Superbowl regardless of the path they take or who they play, right?   The Superbowl winner will have surely deserved it!

No, I believe the real Superbowl will be played on November 9th, and sorry it will probably only have one Nederland team in it. Both teams are really good, but one will have to go back to the drawing board. That's what makes it so good you have to keep getting better and play your best ball at the end of season when it counts!  Good Luck to all the teams!
