when a player deliberately breaks the rules knowing the consequences, they deserve the punishment. Its not like the coach fabricated false accusations and then punished them for it. sadly, that does happen!! believe me. I think the coach probably made the right decision here. good luck in the game!!

I posted a response to this in the original "playoff" section where it all started but......... lets quit adding fuel to the fire and just let it go. nothing will be accomplished by further comments about this issue. the issue will not be resolved on here. it will not be resolved anywhere. it will just have to go away, and the only way that happens is to quit beating the dead horse. agree with whoever, dissagree with someone else...anyone can say whatever they like.....but this is my last post on this subject. ???

You are so right. This season will soon be over i sure hope the drama will be over to . Just to let all the readers know the first time Warren played Kountze we had 3 good players out not just 1 . I guess everyone is worried about # 6 except her . #6 took her punishment for missing practice ,accepted it and still plays for these coaches . I know these girls love to play volleyball and love there coaches . They will sure miss there setter in these playoff games but also know it was her choice not to be there . I think the only one to be ashamed for there actions is the person who after the playoff game in Buna decided to scream and cuss our coach in front of her players, because he didnt like how things went . There is a time and place for everything that was not the time or the place . Talk about morals where was his. Our parents and fans support our girls and coaches, monday nights game was proof. They traveled a long way to support us . THANK YOU ! congratulations Kountze players, coaches, and fans!!!!!! good luck to you in the race to the state championship. you have a great team with a lot of heart and you seem to be coached REALLY well!!! Congrats on a great season and Good luck to the Lady Warriors as well.....I would love to see a local team go all the way!!!

I thought Warren 7th grade beat Kountze at Kountze. I could be wrong...what was the score on that game?

if they do they are probably in the same district as Woodville....but I really don't know for sure. I looked at the schedule to see who all was in the same district as Warren.

Warren defeats Newton 3 out of 4. Warren still tied for 1st in district with Woodville. 1 loss each, to each other. Keep it up ladies!!! ;D

heck...I thought that the crowd noise was just considered to be part of the game. Every school hopes the students will come and support their team, in ALL sports. it would be HORRIBLE to have a gym full of students to cheer on their team and then be told 'shhhhh" . that would be wrong, let 'em yell!!!

I know these players and I know they will play hard. easy for us to get on here and predict and argue....will be fun to continue all this when the season actually starts. yes...but we meet again this Friday at home. should be some very interesting games to watch. lets just hope our girls can come together and play their positions at the level they have the ability to play them if they get the opportunity to play them ??? whatever..... there will be a starter missing for this game so there is no telling what may happen.

to any and all that some of my previous posts upset or offended. in no way was I trying to pin point any 1 player with any of my remarks. I posted some thoughts on Warrens weaknesses including the inability to hold on to the ball at crucial moments. basically an observation from the game I was attending. an open discussion about the game brought it all up. I am truly sorry for the remarks I made to any one who felt like they were aimed directly at them. I can be the bigger person and apologize here, because my intention was never to hurt anyones feelings. if you look at the posts I make in football, softball, volleyball, junior high sports, etc.. you will see that I try to post positive remarks and that I fully support Warren athletics in all sports. ... congratulating teams, wishing them good luck, etc... I admit the remarks made regarding the fumbles etc.. were not positive posts, and they have been removed. but they were not made to offend or insult!! just observations and an opinion formed by watching them play. multiple players made the mistakes I was talking about...from fumbles, to dropped passes, etcc.. that resulted in turnovers. those same players also made some spectacular plays in the same game. 1 example. a punt was fumbed for a turnover. o.k. the same kid that made that fumble received a punt at a different point in the game and made a heck of a run!! very impressive moves breaking tackles, spinning and returning the punt for about 30 or 35 yards. All I was trying to say is that if Warren wants a chance to win some games and go post district....we need to try to take advantage of all opportunities. I was unable to make the game on Friday but heard that the Warren team played really well. congrats on that Warren Warriors!!! I will continue to post congratulations and also to wish the best to the team before the games because I am a supporter of these KIDS and our school. what you will not see is any advice, or my opinions regarding football on this site because without trying..i manage to offend. again....my sincere apologies to any and all who have been offended by any remark I made, and good luck in the future games you have left to play.

The Lady Warriors move to 3-1 in district play defeating San Augustine in 3 games at home last night. The Warriors are looking strong and showing a lot of flexability and the ability to play different positions. With 2 setters now and a wide range of hitters and receivers, they are going to be hard to keep down. Great job so far this season ladies!! Keep up the hard work. Looking forward to watching you play in some post district playoff games ;D
