This could also be considered a tryout for a full time roster spot for those looking for a team, we must get the player added by Friday. Texas Combat is looking for 3 players for our 8u team we are looking specifically for a catcher and a first baseman. We will practice twice a week on Tues. and Thurs. from 4:30 to 6:30 at Marauder Park in Lumberton and will play 2 tournaments a month. You do not have to worry about daddy ball as the coaches do not have kids on the team our goal are to teach these boys the game of baseball and sportsmanship and the boys will have the added help of our 14u team to lean on to help them and answer questions on what it takes to reach their potential. The boys we have have been practicing and are waiting to see who comes out to join their team and we will start tournament play as soon as we fill our roster.                  TEXAS COMBAT ROUND ROBIN TOURNAMENT     Texas Combat will be holding a 6 team 14u round robin tournament the second weekend of Jan. Marauder Park. We have 5 slots available and will be pay at the plate @ $35 a game, the concession stand will be open so no food or drinks are allowed to be brought in. Texas Combat will be having a 12u fastpitch team for the 2015 season. We are looking for 3 players to fill out our roster. We will play in the Gulf Coast league as well play tournaments in the USFA with most tournaments played in the Beaumont area.                                 UPDATE   our open tryout for today August 19 is canceled we will try again this Thursday same place and time. Also if you cant make it Thursday we will be doing this every Tuesday and Thursday.
