Very true Momsoftball!  Lol, if you read the post in this thread carefully, it almost sounds scripted like an advertisement for GTS / IG or maybe a romance novel.  Anyway there are teams in the area with great talent and coaches who will treat your daughter with respect and not like an expendable commodity.  But hey, it will be interesting to see how this love story ends. [/quote] [/quote] Yes I am "advertising" that my kid is going to try out and I hope she makes the team.  We are currently on a team that has some good talent and some good coaches (They have talked about recruiting but that's it). When we heard about the IG merger, I wanted to know if it was really true. On another note-Don't take my wording so literally. Don't be snarky and try to start an online debate about who has the best teams. Like I stated above-we (MY FAMILY) are trying something different. I think it would be great if we had all the talent together and showed the nation what SE Texas was all about. NOW THAT WOULD BE A LOVE STORY!

I can read between the lines. That is great news and congrats.

Someone told me GTS is merging with IG. If that is true my daughter will certainly be trying out for them. We have been talking about our community coming together for years and having the best of the best under one umbrella. Well this is it. Does anyone know anything about this? If so when will the tryouts be posted?
