GT Shockers 12U Jeffery will have open practices on July 14th, 17th, 21st, 23rd at College st complex from 6-8. Tryouts will be on July 25th at college st complex from 9-12. 12U tryouts for the 2015 Spring season will be held this Saturday, January 10th at Sun Devils indoor batting cages behind the church on the corner of Major Dr and Folsom from 9-11 am. Impact Gold 10U will hold our primary Fall 2013 season tryouts on Saturday, July 27, at the College Street Facility (Complex 2) in Beaumont.  Below you will find specific instructions for our age group.  We will be on a very tight schedule that day, so please pay close attention to detail and plan to arrive early. We are in need of pitchers and catchers however all positions are available.  10U – Registration table opens 7:00am (Complex 2) 10U – Pitch / Catch 7:30am to 8:00am (Field E) 10U – Team stretching / warm-ups 8:00am to 8:30am (Field F) 10U – Defense 8:30am to 9:30am (Field E) 10U – Offense 9:30am to 10:30am (Field D) 10U – Conditioning 10:30am to 11:30am (Field F) 10U – Coach Wiltz #409-728-5354 / Coach Jeffrey #409-543-8284 If you believe you are ready to do what it takes to play at the highest level, and are ready to make the commitment to be the best you can possibly be, we are looking forward to meeting you at tryouts and seeing what you have to offer. 10U Impact Gold, Beaumont will be holding Open Practices starting Tuesday July 9th and then every Tuesday & Thursday for the next 3 weeks at 5:30 at the Beaumont Athletic Complex on College Street in Beaumont on Field G. Official Tryouts will be Saturday July 27th at the same location. We are looking for dedicated, self-motivated, experienced ball players that want to work hard to get to that next level. BRACKET PITCHERS & CATCHERS ARE A PLUS. This team in the Spring had a Great Season with 2- 1st Place, 1- 2nd Place, 2- 3rd Place, and 1- 4th Place finish. The GT Shockers Organization would like to announce our official merger with the Impact Gold Organization based out of Spring, Texas. The Shockers will officially change names and become “Impact Gold” beginning this coming Fall 2013 season. We will continue to operate out of Beaumont, TX which is the nucleus of the Golden Triangle area. We will learn Impact’s system in its entirety and become an equal part of it from top to bottom. The Shockers and Impact both believe that it is in our best interests to combine our resources together, as one. This will strengthen our recruiting base even more within the region, and will ensure that it remains at the highest possible level for all of our players that represent us. Yes, the GT Shockers have done an outstanding job on our own in a very short 5 years, getting 37 out of 37 gold level players recruited to the collegiate level. That is something that we are all extremely proud of! At the same time, we are not naïve to the fact that Impact Gold has been doing it much longer than we have, and that they have more resources to offer than we do. Simply put, they are a more established organization and have had more proven success at a higher level. Impact Gold already has at least one player, if not multiple players in some cases, at just about every top Division 1 program across the country. We all agree that if we combine our experiences, knowledge, and resources together, combine the best talent that we can discover within our own parts of the region, keep an open mind with the willingness and desire to constantly share information and learn from each other along the way, and put all personal egos and mini territorial boundaries aside for the greater “whole” concerning all of our players, we will simply become one of the most highly recognized recruiting bases anywhere in the country.
