Silsbee played a great game last night beaten HF by 51 point. But not to lie HF did play great too. I wasn't expecting HF to be playing that good of a defense agaisnt Silsbee offense and while Silsbee was on defense,HF moved the ball down the court pretty well alot. #3 of HF is a beast. Silsbee is still commiting too many fouls. THat gonna hurt in the long run.

#3 guard of HJ seem to be suprising people this year. Howard of Silsbee has been a big suprise this year too.

Everyone of yall is right beside Mwhizzie. Silsbee is a talent power house basketball team. Just having one starter back and their record looking better right now than it did last year after making it to regional before being stop by HJ. Let be real Silsbee is real good. No team in the world is perfect. There can be a team like Kingwood that went to state final three years in a row and they will still have some stuff they still need to work on. Silsbee will be dominated but they still have some stuff they need to work on before district start. To answer your question Yes, Silsbee is a threat to alot of team in SE area.

1st Quarter: Silsbee went out sluggish wasn't making any shot and there defense wasn't there at first, however Nederland had a couple early shot to put them up 10-4 before Silsbee coach called a timeout. End the end of regulation the score was 15-13 Nederland lead. 2nd Quarter: Silsbee finally got there defense rolling and was making fast break point. Nederland had the inside game working well for them. They were making there points mostly inside but the did put up some three's though. End of regulation the score was 33-25. 3rd Quarter: Silsbee totally took over that quarter, they were just playing hard no defense but foul is what getting them in trouble. Nederland kinda sat back alot during this quarter they were not making as much shot as they were in the last two quarters. End of regulation I forgot. 4th Quarter: Silsbee went on and play there game. They let alot of bench players get in during this quarter. Nederland was playing Silsbee game (their tempo, speed, defense) Silsbee was not letting Nederland have their way at all. End of regulation the score was 71-45. HIghlight of the game Silsbee freshman D.C Stallworth had a season high 15 point and was the leading scorers for the Tigers. D. Forger ( I think that was his name) his number was #52 was the leading scorer for the Bulldog with 11 point. He also a freshman. Two freshman dominated one another. Both about the same height but #52 is bigger. When they get older they will be great players as they are now.

I still don't understand how Silsbee is not ranked up there. Along with HJ, Silsbee lost only two games which were state ranked teams and both team made it two the state only one stand as the defending state champs Kountze ( by 2point) and Ozen( by 11 point) (state finalist). Silsbee beat EC when they were ranked. SIlsbee is not getting no respect statewide at all. What up with that.

Once again Silsbee and HJ won a tournament this weekend. Silsbee at Orangefield tournament. HJ at HJ Classic tournament. HJ beat the #1 RANKED 3A SCHOOL IN TEXAS 65-55. This game was intense I heard but HJ pulled away in the 2nd half. HJ defending 3A Champ bring back 3 starters and is looking for another chance at State. This tournament was real tough with some good teams playing in it. Silsbee however, played a team from their district to defend their back to back tournament champ belt. They had played the host Orangefield for the title. This game came to be a nail biter. Silsbee took the lead at the last secong the come away with the win 50-49. At least both team know what they are looking at when they next play each other in district. Silsbee Region 3 Finalist is looking to go further than Regional this year. They want to go to state. Will this be the year. They only brought back one starter but they have a roster full of players that can ball. OF had a good weekend also. Even though they didn't win their tournament this weekend they had played some great matchup and they became the finalist in the Orangefield tournament. #33 is a force he can shoot the ball well so can #20. When it count OF can pull away some close win with free throw shooters. They dominated that area. Can OF passing attack and shooting ability help them with a spot in District 21-3A playoff squad. OF brings back 3 starters that did well in the toughest 3A district in state but were too young and inexperince. They came short with a few wins but will be a contender this year. District 21-3A is far the toughest 3A district in state. Defending 3A champ, Region 3 Finalist, and bi-district finalist. Come on you couldn't have ask for nothing better than this.

Well I was there. OF has some great shooters by the way and great free throwers. In the first half nearly half of OF point was off of foree throw shooting. Ref kept calling foul on Silsbee alot when there were no fouls there. OF did have alot of help tonight though but I do think they could be a contender for a 3rd playoff spot though #33 was dominating tonight.

HJ ain't lost a game since they played at Silsbee in the first round of district at Silsbee too. That might come to an end when we (Silsbee) play HJ again.

What is really happening with EC basketball? I know they missing their post but the rest of the team got to step up as of now cause district will be soon too. What does Chapel Hill has?

You have to admit that they are not playing a team that up to their challenge yet wait till tomorrow. they will have a challenge especially LCM. From what I saw, it look as though the stronger team are playing in the top bracket and the weaker team are playing at the bottom bracket (except OF).So that a big coincidence. LCM, Silsbee, PNG, Milburn are some tough team in this tourney and they all at the top. It doesn't make sense at all.

Silsbee 80 Milburn 76 This game was intense. Througout the whole game neither team had more than a 6 point lead at anypoint of the game. Milburn really dominated in the inside paint they well there. Silsbee however was not making three's, really they never shot many only like 5 I believe throughout the whole game. What I couldn't understand was that after last year when Silsbee and Milburn were playing for the Tourney Championship, this year they were playing in the first round does that make any since to you and yet Silsbee came back on top again. Silsbee only bring back 3 players that played in this tournament and Milburn bought back nearly the whole squad.
