As talent is concerned I think it will be very evenly matched..but having a good friend on the jasper coaching staff I have to lean that way with Jasper 24 and Newton 13

I want to know in your opinions who has the lightest predistrict schedule and is it a good idea to play lightweight opponents or try to challenge your team by challenging a reasonable opposition?

Is anyone giving Anahuac a chance going into HJ and coming out with the win?? Are the Panthers ready to hold their own ??

This game might not mean much to everyone else but to these two teams it means everything!!! A win and Anahuac sits pretty for the #2 spot in district 24-2A but a win for Warren puts both Anahuac/Warren at 5-5 with East Chambers at 4-4. Adding that EC has a make-up game with undefeated 8-0 Buna here in the near future...I know I know, small town 2A baseball who cares right...WE DO!!!! GO WARRIORS!!!

I think either way you went with this hiring situation could work out for all involved. I would have loved to see Sandra hired with her local ties to this area, but more than that her success as a coach! I read all this TCU hooplah about NCAA tournament appearances but who cares, do we need to be satisfied with just making the tournament? I am sorry but I will never be happy with being average and neither should Lamar!! I hope Tidwell is not using Lamar for a stepping stone, I dont know him personally so I will save judgement....I wish the best to Lamar but boy would I be more encouraged to go support with a local coach, excardinal, that would be Sandra, not Tidwell!!

if Schooling is up for BC then pitch him on schedule...it doesnt matter who you are playing, you play to win!!! whether its OF or Jasper, their goals should be the same, dont pitch your #2 or #3 guy and let a average team sneak up on you...always put the teams along the middle of the pack down....beat the teams you should beat and let the rest fall where it may!!

well this guy is sure not going to join an umpire chapter..I know the HE** you guys take from fans, coaches, etc...:-) and if what you say is true then I rest easy knowing our umpires are up to date...but some of the ones I have witnessed in varsity HS games had no business even being the park much less umping it...overall a great job by the blues...just wish small schools could get 4-5A umpires..i know i know just a dreAm

Umpires def should be held to higher standards than parents, fans, etc...so lets not go there! Yes we are human and we make mistakes but if you take a job that you are paid for it, you should be held accountable for your actions...

I am not saying Warren is a powerhouse either, just saying Buna has not dominated their games this year..i am not taking nething away from them though but don't think I will sit and argue with a HS kid about this nemore...Buna has talent and will most likely win the district, just dont assume they will kill every team that stands up against them...now go back to class before the teacher gripes at you boy...

what time will the make-up game be tomorrow in EC? We will be heading out that way to watch..we have played you both and from what I saw it should be a great game...
