Ok, so the word on streets is that the Boys of Gold say they won't go down easy. They have had 6 weeks to prepare for tomorrow and are more than excited to have a chance to bring down the "BJFTE". They claim that overloads, shifts, motions, reverses, different snap counts, and even field goals wont faze them. They also said that unlike against Lumberton Red, Nederland's FS will be getting a workout tomorrow. Beaumont Gold -2.5   The Boys of Blue, aka "Lil Blue", aka "The little engines that could", claim they are ready also. They claim that Nederland will be no match for their speed and that Nederland will be going home with tears in their eyes tomorrow. Their secondary is ready for the aerial attack and with the dominating blitzes and stunts from underneath they say Nederland doesn't stand a chance. They say that they didnt have all their kids healthy and playing against vidor but will have a sound roster for tomorrow. They say that being the underdog will only make the victory that much sweeter. Beaumont Blue -5.5   Let it begin

  I actually agree with this. Yes Lum W was supposed to be good, but how can you say they are a 3rd place team with a loss like that....Makes no sense

Ok ladies, Im back. Been in Northwest Alaska on a guided chupacabra hunt. Strangely enough, i came back empty handed.   I hear Nederland has been doing some scouting and filming of their own on the Bmt teams and also knows all of their plays. Cant wait for Saturday. 

Don't go off putting words in my mouth. I know Nederland has two good Jr teams. All I have said is that lace saying they can hang with bmt senior is dumb. I won't even go there with your what if crap about 3 kids staying in junior.

There maybe a handful of kids through both Nederland teams that could even keep up with Bmt Senior. The rest would be broken in two. So come on man. You can talk up Nederland all you want as being the best team in Junior but comparing them to the best (as i see it) senior team aint gunna happen.

Ok, so Week 1 is in the books. Here's what we know.   Nederland White and Black are the teams to beat. Nederland White is the "Best Junior Football Team Ever" with the best coaches and the best players.  :rolleyes:  The road to the Super Bowl goes through Nederland. At practice they work on ways NOT to score.    Lumberton White aka "The Cupcake Crew" may have just eaten too many of said cupcakes before their game. Making them weak and slow, unable to stop the dominating aerial attack of the amazing Nederland Black. One would think Olexa could learn from this and will have his boys ready for Week 2. From this game we all have learned what referee a team needs when they want to slow a game down.   Lumberton Red was very disappointed with their performance against the "BJFTE". Someone once claimed they had the best back in the league, however Bugatti quickly shut that down. This was proven Saturday as the "BJFTE" only allowed then one 1st down with very minimal offensive work.   Vidor apparently lost all there kids to Seniors and did not look all that great. Maybe they can get it together for Week 2.   Png Purple has good size to their team. They started off slow in their first game but apparently began to get things together. With one conference win in the books they might be able to carry a little momentum into Week 2   Png W probably lost bad to WOS but no one knows. Obviously i can not comment much on this team.   Bmt Warriors looked very sloppy their first appearance. Lets hope they can get some good work in before Week 2 or it will be a long season. Vidor will be a good opponent for them next.   Beaumont Blue also got their first conference win but unfortunately it was against a weaker team. Let hope that small backfield grows up a bit before they face the almighty Nederland Black. They do have speed but NB claims they can shut that down easily.   Beaumont Gold has had a lot of time to work with a BYE their first week. After getting smashed by The Cupcake crew in an early scrimmage they probably have their hands full for Week 2 against the "BJFTE".    This took way to long to do so i will let someone else do Small schools.   With all this said, On to my picks for Week 2   Lum W vs Png W   Olexa either wins or his kids do up and down all game Lum R vs Png P    Lum R with a few more 1st down and maybe even some points but go down in the end Vid vs Bmt Warriors     Bmt B vs Ned B     More work for 2nd string Bmt G vs Ned W    "BJFTE" enough said BC vs Jas    Of-W vs Of-O     Lcm vs WOS

I never said the anything was done wrong. Ned w head coach is a great guy and he did everything not to score, his back just broke free. Just using it as a comparison. All I was getting at is why shouldn't 2nd string be able to try as hard as 1st?

How does BISD have anything to do with WBBIFL and the unstoppable Senior Beaumont team? Guess you can't find anything wrong with the team that you gotta take shots somewhere else. If that makes you feel better then go ahead. bmt is used to it and will rise above like always. 😉
