Heard from a customer who has a kid on that Beaumont Black Diamond team that they are finally playing a home game at West Brook on Sat. at 6:00 against one of the better Houston teams.  All select and not as many playing or practice rules as SJTFL or TIFI.  Depending on what college games are on, I might go watch them again for a bit.  That's some serious 5th and 6th grade football!  Big, fast, and well coached.

My understanding is that the Black Diamonds are an all Bmt team with maybe 1-2 from mid county.  They did not raid the WOS team of any players I don't believe.....just found some talented kids in Bmt and coached them up.  They play in a league that;s all Houston teams.

Lurker...never post........Buuuuutttt Wow! Hard to compare a league team vs a select team but dayum....Beaumont Diamond team has some playmakers.  Granted they they have no practice limits, are hand picked, and have been working all off season as a unit in conditioning but wow!!!  Beaumont has some serious talent about to hit the Jr. high level if they can make the grades and keep their noses clean.  Too bad they will all be split up among various schools. WOS will be just fine and has plenty of talent. Should regain title again IMO!!!!! Just show thes difference between select league teams and local league teams. Good luck ot all involved and glad there were no injuries that I saw.
