Who gets to pick the TASCO seniors?  Seems like they missed at least one great defender from mid-county.  No he doesn't wear purple even though he should have made it to.

Do the winners of region 3 & 4 play each other for the "state championship" or are they already considered state champions?

does anybody know if the regional winners i.e. 3 & 4 play for a state championship or are they already considered state champions and don't have to play each other?

Oh, but to have been that close.  Something I doubt any club from 37 or 38 will experience anytime soon. It all starts with quality club teams/organizations.  Man oh man, we got a long way to go.

Anyone know how the boys finished in that district?

Just spoke the truth.  If you have great passion that's one thing.  To have zero class is another.  Work on it.

My son also played for Arendale for many years.  Everyone who teaches leaves some kind of impact on the student.  No doubt in my mind that the years he spent with Arendale prepared him well.  That man simply loves the game and the kids. Since this is our last year "together", I'm hoping that we will go .....dare I say, all the way!

Islander, I don't know who you are but your summary of LCM's games have always been an interesting read. My son plays (senior) for Nederland and I have enjoyed the games we've played against LCM these past 4 years. They always play us tough and the games are very competitive.  I thought you all had a good team and that number 18 in the back is awesome.  Not just him though there were many.  The field was in great shape and it was finally a beautiful night for football!  Might as well throw a plug in for the ref as he had control of that game and that's saying alot these days.  Take care Islander and wish us luck in the playoffs, especially if we get lucky enough to face the purple people again.  How in the world did you guys lose 0-8 to them?

4 years watching my son play against central.  Two words sum up those 4 years........no discipline.

Looks like a rubber match is in order.  They did it with basketball for seeding.  Hopefully soccer is the same. Both teams were controlled on their home field.  Let the boys play on neutral turf and lets see the outcome.  ;)
