Full pads on Monday!!  Football is so much fun to watch.  The junior white team from PNG will be pretty good this year.  A lot of the boys come from an undefeated Superbowl Champion team from last season.  Plus the coaches are pretty good too  ;D.
Im curious to see how the PNG team will be without their QB
Their QB, RB, S..that kid was their team..time will tell
 2. First practice of the new season starts today. Let's see how many kids are out of shape..let the passing out and vomiting begin  ;D
 3. Congrats to the GT Vipers 8u team for winning the USSSA World Series in Sulphur, LA this week. They went 8-1 during the tourney, scoring 95 runs while only giving up 29. Good job boys and congrats to the coaches for doing a good job!    :D
 4.
SETX RENEGADES BASEBALL is a local team from kids from all over the GOLDEN TRIANGLE. Morgan or his staff have never told us about we cant play USSSA. I umpire myself and umpires are schedule through there chapters. Congrats on the 10th yrs of hard work to MORGAN and his staff, also to the VIPERS heard those kids came in 1st in a Major division tourney. Emilio Flores The one and only RENEGADE on the forum....................
Thank you Emilio for your kind words to the GT Vipers. I saw you guys won a cpl of games this last tourney, hopefully you guys are starting to hit your stride. I've heard nothing but good things about you..goodluck to the Renegades for the rest of the year! Wayne
 5. Jason Tyner you are way off base! I've never said anything about you anywhere on this forum period! I don't hide behind a screen name, I have 1 "2 Sons Playing". It's very easy to go back and see all the post I've put on here. Everything I have said on here is the TRUTH! I've never once badmouthed your organization on here. And let's get the record straight, you've never taught, trained, or coached either of my sons so quit being dilusional. I've always had respect for you, but you just threw that out the door with all your assumptions. So before you start acting like judge and jury on here and calling people out without facts you better get your sh-- straight! Wayne Gresham
 6.
Also, Congrats to the Texas Sting, a Beaumont area team, for winning the Nations St. Patrick Day Showdown hosted at Ford Park this past weekend.  Tourney CHAMPIONS for 12U. Great Job Ruben!!!
So 1st you hijack someone else's thread for your own teams announcement. "You were obviously proud enough  of your tournament victory to start in on a thread about it. Are yall that hard up for the world to know that your team won a tournament" Then you complain about somebody doing the exact same thing you did. One thing is for sure, you are appropriately named..knucklehead!!!
 7.
LOL, but it sure sounded like an intentional slam. Tell you what, since you guys claim to have just acquired two more playmakers and are loaded with talent,  why dont you enter a 12 u kiddie pool tournament and take a stab at it. SAC
First of all I didn't claim any such thing. As for entering a 12u tourney, I have a 10yr old and a 8yr old which one would you like to try and beat up on? I do have to warn you though, the 8yr old just started pitching and has been lights out from 40' mound.  ;) As for the slight slam, I was just going by the tourney results and stats posted. Seems like they had a pretty dominating tourney to me and are ready to move up a class. It was said in a jokingly manner and wasn't meant to disrespect any "select" teams. So I apologize if that's how it looked.
 8. :o  Wow really? Since my 1st comment has been taking so out of context (which was a just a joke) let me just say..Congrats to Ruben and the Texas Sting for their tournament win. No wonder our society is so screwed up..have a nice day
 9.
2 sons Playing, was that necessary?  At least he stuck with using League players and hard work, not dumping players and merging teams to finally get a victory after three years.
First of all I happen to know Ruben, so a little dig about him shouldn't be a big deal so calm down. Second I think it's ridiculous that if a team or the majority of it's players have been playing select tourneys for 3 years that they should be allowed to play at the bottom level of any organization, whether they're "league" players are not. Lastly you act like "league players" aren't good players, I happen to know many of his players and they make "Allstars" every year, they have plenty of experience to be playing up. I didn't take anything away from his players for winning by my comment, I just challenged him to step up a level..what's wrong with that? SMH

Great Job Ruben!!!
Congrats to Ruben for finally winning a SELECT Tourney after 3 years of playing down there. Maybe now he can get out of the kiddie pool and come up and play with the big boys  ;)
 11.
What team and age group did this happen in?
I believe it was the Gladiators 12 Elite team. They forfeited to the Prospects Red team that went on and won the Championship.
 12. I told you this in a PM and now I'm telling you on this forum...I AM NOT JUAN GONZALEZ!!!!! I don't know who you are, I don't know if you are or you're not Mike Scoggins as you claim to be in your pm's..personally I don't care who you are, you don't mean anything to me. If you want, I'll be happy to introduce myself to you in person-real proper like. Of course by your character you've shown so far on this forum, I doubt you would show. Leave me out of your little game you're playing.
 13. Some of you guys would bitch and moan about anything.."they should have done this, I would have done this"..just stop you're not that important. let me give you a little history of what it's been like playing under Nations here the past 5 years. Most of the time you wouldn't find out till Thur or Fri if the tourney would fill at all, if it did then you either got to play the same 3 or 4 teams each time or was asked to play up an age bracket. 90% of all teams playing were local teams only. If you wanted to play other teams you had to got to Htown or LA to get that. USSSA 1st tourney has 68 teams signed up with less than a dozen being local. if you local teams want that to continue then I would suggest you start signing up for their tourneys and supporting an org that is trying to bring better teams to our park to play. Had Morgan been as proactive the past 5 years as he is this year, then this situation wouldn't have ever happened. Now to clear up a few comments; The guy complaining about the director having a team, the Gladiators run the nations tourneys locally and have a team for every age bracket playing in all their tourneys..get  a clue. Renegades you chose to play up an age bracket at Nations instead of playing against teams in your own age bracket..please explaing to me how that is better for your players and what were the results from it? As for how the tourney went this weekend, it was unfortunate about the weather on Sat but they did a great job of being fair to all teams. Sunday ended up being a great day to play, and I think most teams enjoyed themselves and will hopefully come back. Ford park is one of the best facilities around, I would prefer to play most of my games here against better teams. I hope you will support it so they can continue to build on what just started.
