  1. This Wednesday we will have our last seminar from 7-8 at the Football Fieldhouse at Lamar. We will have a panel of girls from the team at Lamar to answer questions you might have on anything from the recruiting process from their perspective to what it is like to be a Division I athlete.   3. We will have our second college recruiting night this Wednesday from 7-8. We will be talking about scholarships and financial aid (there is lots of new legislation passed by the NCAA in the past year). We had about 25 kids and 50 total last week which was fantastic. February 8th – 7-8pm Football Field House: College recruiting 101 February 15th – 7-8pm Football Field House: Scholarships February 22nd – 7-8pm Football Field House: Question & Answers Lamar University Women’s Soccer program is offering three, 60 minute sessions to all high school age players on the college recruiting process.  The focus of these meetings is to explain how the college recruiting process works at all of the college levels; Division I, II, III, NAIA and Junior Colleges. Session 1: College Recruiting 101 - How do you get yourself noticed as a college prospect? - When should you start the process? - What is the difference between divisions? - What should you be doing and when, so that the process keeps moving forward?
