[/quote] Unfortunately, all of that D1 talent sometimes causes issues with the team effect.  In 2006 one of those recruits caused some loss of focus, and once again last year it happened.  I feel that the returning players on this team, as well as the coaching staff learned a valuable lesson from last year.  The focus is on the team aspect, and last year that was not the case.  I just love watching these guys play. [/quote] Last year wasn't the cause of a recruit causing us to lose focus...many people didn't understand that we were taking it one game at a time just like this team was. But it was seriously Murphy's law, everything that can go wrong will. I'm not making excuses of course, Kingwood Park earned their win. But our loss wasn't do to loss unfortunately.

[/quote] People in the south take us serious, and with good reason.  It's region 1 & 2, that don't....  I've been told by Stephenville, Aledo, Everman, Highland Park, Denton Ryan, Denison, Sulphur Springs & several other schools from the DFW area, that "Brenham is a joke".  Most people on here are just pulling your chain.  I doubt they mean anything by it.  It's just the Yankees of Texas that underestimate us. [/quote] You're exactly right, I looked at the brackets yesterday, Aledo and Stephenville are the only two decent teams in region 1. But I will give props to Aledo in 2009, I can personally say they were the real deal. But if we convert that 4th and 2. The outcome might have been closer.

Read the majority of the posts on here which was what I referred to and tell me I'm wrong. And I'm not angry..I said all that with a smile on my face. Anyone that says Brenham is overrated...obviously has never played them, never seen them play, or pays no attention to 4a football. :)

This is my first post, and I am boldly going to predict that Ozen will be greatly overwhelmed by the Brenham Cubs. Nobody has the motivation and character like they have. Its not just the talent, we have talent every year. This team has their facts straight, they're taking it one game at a time. I feel bad for anyone who has to play them.
