If I were a betting man, I would say that here within the next few years you will hear a lot about DENETRA KELLUM. I wouldnt be surprised if she didnt go Pro! I love and miss that kid as I do all of Kirbyville athletes!

I would like to comment on basketball in a big city v.s. small town USA. I have now coached both and there is a huge difference! Big towns have much less talented players fundamentally! Probably because the players have so many other things they can go do and be involved in! I have been coaching for 11 years and spent most of my time in Kirbyville preparing girls for school ball and I can honestly say they are the best, hardest working players I have ever coached. Their heart is in the game and they truly want to win and do whats right I have coached over 100 players in this town and I will say it has been a blessing to me in my life by being a part of these girls life, in learning the sport I love! I will never forget any of you and that day when I told some of you goodbye in the gym was one of the saddest days in my life! Tell everyone I said "Hey!" Coach Harding ;D

I've coached this girl from probably when she was 6 until she was 16 she is the toughest player and has the biggest passion for the game not to mention a huge heart, although she dont show it often! Hey Chico! I know your out there somewhere! She will go pro...its her destiny! She loves it I mean really lives for the game and I will always be in her corner! If you havent watched her play you are really missing something, Ive played her one on one, she is awesome. I am blessed to have been part of her life and the rest of the Kirbyville girls! I miss them a bunch! ;D
