To the parent who asked about open practice. Our practices are open to potential players looking to see what Young Guns is all about. Call for days and times and come practice.

As coach of the new 14u Young Guns, I have already had a tryout because Nationals does not have every talented player in the area. You never know who will show up and what talent you may see. If a girl has the drive to succeed then I can work with that. I have made statements at my tryouts about not stringing me along because I do need a commitment before a certain date as all coaches do. I encourage everyone to find the team that best suits you no matter how many tryouts it takes. As for Crush and Shockers, I don't have anything against them. Look forward to playing them this fall.

Practices are open to all potential players and their parents. Young Guns has a private indoor hitting facility and designated practice fields. Looking for aggressive, coachable players who want to have fun while developing their talents. Open practices are held at the Vidor boys fields on old hwy 90. Call for days and times.
