Thursday, April 29,2009 Blake was presented with a Certificate in Recognition of Outstanding Achievement Honors List by the Dean of Academic Affairs Brown Mackie College-Salina.

BMC won their Region last night with a sweep of Hesston in Hesston!! Coaches had to move the games to Hesston due to all the rain and storms in Salina. BMC took game one 7-5 and then blasted Hesston 14-3 in game two. Moss (Silsbee) was 5-8, 3 singles, 2 doubles, ROE, 4 rbi's and scored 4 times in the two games. Had 4 assist in both games. Was not able to get the pitchers names at this time. It was late when I got this info. Will post this later! BMC has two weeks to get ready for their next set of games. Swindle (WB) and Adam (Salina) combined in the game one win and Alahandra (Lake Jackson) got the win in game two.

BMC gets ready to defend their 2008 Region 6 Championship on Sunday the 26th at home against Hesston. Game two will be in Hesston on Monday the 27th and if game three is needed it will be back at home for BMC on Wednesday the 30th. The winner will play in Southeast OK. on April 7th and 8th.

BMC completed their regular season against Garden City on Wednesday. They dropped game one 12-2 and 10-2 in game two. Moss was 1-3, HR, 2 rbi's and scored once in game one. Moss was 1-4, single, rbi, SB and scored once in game two. Blake started all 38 games, played 268 innings, 126 TC, 45 PO, 73 Assist with 8 Errors. BMC drops game one 6-4 and game two was rained out on Saturday. Adam (Salina) pitched game one. Moss (Silsbee) was 1-4, single, 1 rbi and ROE. Had 5 TC with 3 PO and 2 Assist at 2nd. BMC drops game one 5-4 and game two 6-4 on Sunday. Hunter (Lake Jackson) pitched game one and August (Humble) pitched game two. Moss was 1-2, HR, Sacf, 3 rbi's and 1 run scored in game one. Moss was 1-3, single and 1 rbi in game two. Had 11 TC with 5 PO and 6 Assist in both games at 2nd.

Moss (Silsbee) was 1-2, single, 1 rbi in game one and 1-3, double, 2 rbi's, run scored in game two. He had 8 TC with 5 PO, 2 Assist and 1 E at 2nd. BMC drops 2 to Butler 4-3 and 6-1. BMC pitchers was Tanner (Salina) in game one and Dusty (Salina) in game two. Moss was 1-3, single, 2 rbi's, ROE, run scored in game one and was 0-3 in game two. He had 5 TC with 3 PO and 2 Assist at 2nd. Garden City is the #1 Team in the JayHawk Division 1 at 35-10 and Butler is #2 at 33-12. Brown Mackie drops to 8-25 and 3-1 in Division 2 Region 6. BMC plays Pratt on Saturday and Sunday.
