  1. Hey jcb6790 on a different subject, if you're at the game saturday with brian, light a fire under #0 behind.
  2. Way to go Lumberton, a giant step in the right direction. You guys are in the spotlight now.
  3. Well said WOS92 ! bhawk and all you l-town fans congrats on the win, it's a super big win. Remember the season is still young, so don't over do it.
  4. One of the most ridiculous coaching moves I have ever seen, and the reason he gave for the change is completely asinine. Brazil outplayed the US, I don't beleive the keeper would have made a difference. To many long balls and not enough possesion.
  5. Now we get to watch all Ned's touchdowns replay on the scoreboard.
  6. When Central, Lumberton and Nederland play it will be very close and entertaining games. None of the teams lost many players. I don't see any team going undefeated in district. Nederland will still be young, but will be improved. Most of the team will be under classmen.
  7. Thank you, that is very irritating!!!
  8. Thanks jlamar, and congrats on your season. Kelly has a very good team, the St. Thomas game was a tough one to lose, playing in the mud and without Kirby. I was at the game, your guys played hard but I wasn't impressed with the refs. Anyway congrats again!
  9. Have you seen Ned lately bon_mot? Lets see, 4 freshmen start every game, sometimes 5, 1 or 2 sophomores start and these are the best players. Your talking about 14 & 15 year old boys playing against 17 & 18 men. Coach Bledsoe is doing the best he can with what he has to work with. The lack of upper classmen leadership is the biggest problem. Ned lost to a senior laden PNG team, only after overtime and a shootout, in which 1 senior and 3 freshman took the 35 yard shots. So just because Ned is not dominating like they usually do does not mean Coach Bledsoe doesn't know what he is doing. 18 years of consecutive playoff appearances is not to shabby. The season is not over yet, Ned has lots of fire left, don't count them out yet.
  10. He asked who has the best jv team and the answer has been Nederland and correct me if I'm wrong but PN-G has lost to them twice.
  11. Which position is the most demanding and requires the most skill to play and state why ?
  12. Nederland @ Central: Varsity will play Saturday @ 12:00.
  13. I don't know much about Coach Maines, but Vidor's soccer program does seem headed in the right direction. It does make a difference when the players realize how hard the coach is working, he seems to be a players coach.
  14. Since the game was played on a monday, lumberton should of had all its players at the game. I believe Garza plays basketball, anyone know ?
  15. Central does need to be on the list, but has anybody seen them play.
  16. I saw every team play at least once and some I saw more. Kelly Fan is probably basing his opinion on the Ned vs Kelly game. Ned was a much improved team after some line up changes and that being their 4th game. PN-G was much improved after their 4th game. Kelly has a very good team and they are also well into their season. West Brook will do well in district play, they have a very good team. The best game of the tourney was PN-G vs West Brook. Since everyone played different teams you can't go by wins and losses strictly, here is my area rankings as of now: 1. Kelly 2. West Brook 3. PN-G 4. Lumberton 5. Nederland 6. Vidor/LC-M 8. HJ
  17. Livingston's goal was a mistake by one of the defenders slipping because of the wet field very early in the game. Nederland was slowed down because of the wet field. Livingston has a decent team, more size than Nederland.
  18. Nederland-2 Livingston-1 on a wet and slippery field in Livingston.
