  1. Lockhart has the ball after a Central fumble with less than a minute left. Lockhart faces a third-and-18 at its own 45 with 40 seconds left. Central leads 24-21.
  2. Central's Desmond Jones intercepts a pass and returns it to the Lockhart 34 with 1:20 left. Looks like the Jags will advance. Check back later for a full report.

  4. Mike Richard got sacked on third down and Central faces a fourth-and-12 from its own 48. Central leads 24-21 with 2:21 left but appears to be in trouble. The Jags will punt and then will need a defensive stop to win.
  5. Lockhart called time outs after the last two Central runs, and there's 3:09 left. If Central gets a first down on a third-and-5 play right now, it can run off a lot of time on the clock.
  6. A touchdown and a two-point play cut Central's lead to 24-21 with 3:21 left. The Jaguars could use a clock-eating drive right now to secure the victory.
  7. Juan Cardenas gave Central a 24-7 lead with a 32-yard field goal with 11:07 left. A pass interference penalty on third down kept alive the drive.
  8. Central leads 21-7 after a 38-yard touchdown pass by Mike Richard to Keenan Allison with 5:56 left in the third quarter. Richard rolled to his right and found Allison wide open on a down-and-out route near the 20-yard line. Central has forced three punts since Lockhart scored the game-opening touchdown, so let's see if they can get another one.
  9. A 1-yard keeper into the end zone by Mike Richard gives Central a 14-7 lead with 9:24 left in the third quarter. David Mayfield helped set up the score with a 64-yard run through the middle to the Lockhart 8.
  10. Central and Lockhart are tied 7-7 at halftime of a Class 4A Division II area round playoff game at Jack Hughes Stadium in Katy. Lockhart opened to a 7-0 lead, but Central's Charlie Thomas evened the score with a 18-yard touchdown run on which he tiptoed down the sideline. Central forced two straight three-and-outs and chipped its way down the field to the Lockhart 25 but lost the ball on an interception with 50 seconds left in the half. Central has two turnovers, the other being a fumble after Lockhart's game-opening touchdown. Central has 130 rushing yards. Lockhart has 85 rushing yards, 75 of which are Dominique Hardaway. The Central band is on the field, and the fans on the Lockhart side are bobbing their heads to the beat.

  13. You really don't know what you are talking about. Central beat WB in 89, o boy and let's not forget that beating in 90 42-7, came back in 91 and shut them out at Westbrook 10- 0 with a powerhouse defense and a lil back by the name of Leeland Mccroy. Beat them some more year not including 53-0 blow out. It's been a while since we even knew WB was still in town. But if you are going to post, post what you know to be true.
  14. If they can get Sedberry back to in the area, they will have something, Graet coach and will bring some pride back to the program. Nelson from BISD was a great player at BCP and aTm even sent time with the Washington Redskins as a wideout. I don't if he will get a fair look due to all of the mess in BISD.
