I think they got it right according to the rule, but it's a stupid rule! If this would've been a running back with the ball on a running play, he would've been considered down because the ground can't cause a fumble, even though Dez never actually fumbled the ball. BS!!!

I hope it don't end like it did in 1981   [Hidden Content]   I specifically remember this game. It just so happens that at this particular time I lived up in a little town called Blissfield Michigan. My two cousins and my aunt and uncle went and attended this game, while I sat at the house and watched the game on T.V.. They hated the Cowboys and when they got back, I never thought I'd hear the end of it. They said it was deafening loud when the Lions made that field goal. But later heard that that last second field goal should not have counted because there was too many Detroit players on the field at the time the ball was snapped. But either way, what a crazy ending.

The guy is such a idiot, I guess he forgets he's on television with replay. I guess he thinks no one would notice or see it for what it is!!   The league is looking like a bunch of hypocrites. They want to suspend a player when it's convenient

True, but him missing possibly the last game of Detroit's season in the playoffs would be far worst then a 2 or 3 games suspension in the regular season.

I'm up here close to Shreveport La., and we have the same problem during the regular season on whether they should show the Cowboys or the Saints game. So when they don't show the Cowboys, I'll go down to the nearest sport bar which normally has the NFL access package to all the games.

Well guys, here we are again, the final game of the season. But this time the Cowboys are not just in the playoffs, but are in a week before the regular season has ended. But lets not just be content with that. I think if the Cowboys play like they have these last three games, I truly believe Dallas could at least make it to the NFC Championship game, if not to the Super Bowl.   Cowboys don't let up just because they're in playoffs. 38-10 Cowboys
