1. Well said Dove3.  I have also seen this kid play football since peewee and he is extraordinary!!! I do believe the same attitude was there too with not running him until the 3rd or 4th down to prove a poin that per say the whole team was good.......well noone disputes that it takes a team to win but if u have a player like this kid ot makes them exceptional instead of just good. Well maybe he should go to Ozen or Westbrook where his talents will get noticed and appreciated. We would love to have him in the bmt.
 2. HEy Yep I talked with his father and guess what the orthopedic Dr. did let him play! So like Scalabrine said stir up mess else where! I know after talking with several parents at the game seems like you guys better worry about those Buna Cougars and the Warren Warriors! I have to agree if that kid had been a 100% yall would have been in trouble! Saw him run a couple of touchdowns seemed to handle himself quite well!
 3. Great host for the playoffs HJ! GOOD FOOD! ESP. THE GUMBO! Only thing noticed there were some parents from HJ and Warren arguing in the parking lot. The Warren parent was accusing HJ of cheating! What was that about? She said something about some Lumberton kids? What was that about? Anyone can clue me in?
 4. Saw some of the games yesterday with Lonestar, HJ looked good. Buna looked good too. I will have to say if both teams make it to the Superbowl it would have to be HJ. They have more speed and athleticism. Looked like EC Green was could be a contender maybe.
 5. Not sure! May want to watch out for EC Green! Heard practically the majority of the team was sick with a stomach bug when they played Buna! Heard they gave Hj a run for the money in OT!
yeah.. this is crazy to sayy but kountze is about to turn into a football school no more studs on the wood...
Yeah this would be pretty crazy to say because you have a junior high loaded with talent for the wood! Rebuiling indeed to only reload! Watch out they are coming strong!
Dove- Please do tell- Please define "truth" in your last statement.  Is the "truth" that HF will be the 2012 state champs?  Cant find that in the dicitionary.  Is the "truth" that HJ can no longer compete for the top in their district?  I think that "truth" is merely the "prognostication" of one who considers himself a purveyor of the "truth".  Perhaps the "truth" is the word/words that flow from disenchanted fans/wannabe coaches who again become self appointed "truthsayers".  Gee, as far as the subject matter, I am unable to find how the "truth" can be told about future events.  Does the trite/hackneyed saying "sometimes the truth hurts" apply to an event that hasn't taken place yet?  Excuse me, I must be out of touch.  I always thought that the "truth" pertained to events that had already taken place and could, therefore, be substantiated and documented.  If the truth is as you(and a couple of others) portray it, then why not contact the UIL and tell them that HF and Silsbee should be, at THIS time, be awarded the top playoff spots.  If they ask you why, just tell em "its the truth".  I am sure they will happily accept that as formal documentation.  And, while you are at it, let them know that all rules have been complied with for the foreign "students".  That is the "truth", isn't it.
Okay Stevie. We'll walk on faith and belief. Those two words have brought this nation a long way and I'm sure faith will bring out some truth in your non-believing soul in 2011-2012 season.
Be careful with that "faith and belief stuff".  A well know person got his current position promising "change we could believe in".  My guess is that the Nov elections may send a strong message that the general public is no longer drinking the kool-aid.
Hold on here! Seems like Stevienash is displaying a little hidden racism here! Watch yourself! Most can read between the lines here!
