Brenham-41 Magnolia-7  I don't see Brenham losing to Stratford. Montgomery beat Stratford 34-10 without Dobbins playing and they are a completely different team without him. Stratford would have to play out of their mind to win. Not going to happen.                                                     

Dobbins touched the ball 4 times tonight and scored 2 touchdowns, then went to the bench. You got to feel bad for the Spring Woods and Northbrook teams.

Looks like Stratford and Waller fighting it out for final playoff spots.

1973 Area game-#2 Tyler John Tyler vs #1 Conroe Tigers in Conroe Stadium- I was 7 years old and made me love football. Conroe stopped Earl Campbell for 3 Qtrs. Last drive for Tyler, Earl threw a pass that completely suprised Conroe for a 10-7 lead. Conroe completed a couple of passes to get to the 20 of Tyler but ran out of time. 10-7 Tyler. Their was rumors after Tyler won state championship that the Tyler crowd chanted Tyler #1 Conroe#2. Not much scoring but man was their some hard hitting in the game. Old school football

Congrats to Brenham and their coaches/Defense made one heck of second half adjustments. I wouldn't totally forget about Montgomery, they will get better and be team no one will want to face in the playoffs. Go get the state championship Brenham and maybe Montgomery can make a run also.

Brenham fan- Interesting question- Why does Brenham have home game again this year? Is it because of the district                     realignment? This was such a key game and Montgomery sure would have liked to have this one at home.

  3 turnovers (against Waller last game) vs Brenham will not win the game. They can't beat themselves. You don't give   good teams extra chances or field position. You will lose.

Montgomery 21 Brenham 14 Montgomery better bring their A game. A homer pick but you stick with your boys win or lose.

I think Dobbins will be fine, Bolfing is more important because if he can't throw some Brenham will stack the box. Dobbins will get his,  I have never been to a game he doesn't. Bolfing and the play of the Montgomery D is the keys to the game. Dobbins has that extra speed and vision that make him special. Everyone is playing injured at this point a little bit. How you handle it separates the men from the boys.

I think the Montgomery staff planned to use Dobbins this way to test his injury. His speed and cuts looked good but he had problems gripping the ball with his hand (had it taped up). Bolfing is going to have one sore leg all week. Personally I think this was the best thing to happen to them, they needed a close game to keep them focused instead of a easy win.

I went to the game- Dobbins played about half the time and still not 100% (hand). The QB Bolfing got hurt in 1st quarter with a big hit /thigh bruise (limping most of the game) and was never able to get going. Waller D played good but Dobbins broke some big runs and then was pulled out? They won't beat Brenham the way they played tonight with 2 turnovers. They will have to be at their best game to win, but you never know thats why they play the game.

I want to go but the crowd will be a mess, Montgomery this year is really selling out so I bet they will have a large traveling crowd. I have not decided yet but like you said better be their early if I go. Looks like the Brenham D is even better than last year. Montgomerys defense will have to play a great game to win, the have given up some yards but have stopped people in Red Zone. Also Stratford is overated also, with Dobbins they could have hung 60 on them.
