Regarding Wimberley being ranked 4th (in 3A of course)...I am proud and honored. But...in all honesty....I say its unearned at this point. OK...I'm new here, and noticed the "Karma" count on the posts. I can guess what it means, but an explanation would be helpful. Is it similar to the "like" button on FaceBook?

I watched his mother this morning on NBC. What sadness I saw in her eyes!!! How can anyone even come close to understanding her pain right now. It appeared to me that Coach Hooks is absolutely devastated. I am glad she cleared up the "seizure" issue, which has kind of lingered over the weekend. We should know when the autopsy is published. Again, my condolences to all, especially the family and teammates.

I have relatives in your area who have been a huge part of a local football program for many decades (PNG), and after our two teams played in 2005 Semi-Finals, I have made friends on the W-OS board as well as the "other" 3A board. Good people, great fans, incredible football program...we are stunned and saddened by this. I have hopes of meeting again in the semi-finals, but we have our own road to hoe right now! We play Sealy this Friday...should be a great test. And thank you to GunHo, Griff and WOSgrad....good to see you guys.

I signed up on this board to have a way of telling my W-OS friends that we have them in our thoughts and prayers this weekend. We feel a certain connection to you guys from years past, and we have hopes of seeing you again this year in the play offs. God's Speed to all.
