I saw PNG and Stephenville at the Dome several years ago. I believe there were about 40,000 fans there and about 3/4 of them were PNG fans. It was impressive!!!

Kyle Field is the best. Also, the Waco ISD stadium is very nice.

If I remember correctly, the 2001 game went to overtime. I wish I could be there. I will be getting phone reports from the game and posting updates here on SETXsports. GO BUCS!!!

I live in Colorado, now. This forum is my main source for information on SE Texas HS football (along with talking to my son, of course). I especially enjoy getting all the updates on Friday nights, during the games. I'll be down in 2 weeks to see EC and Anahuac. GO BUCS!!!

I can't say that I actually played in this game, but I was a petty good bench warmer. Conroe vs. Bryan, 1974. We (Conroe) beat Austin Reagan the week before to open the season. Went to Bryan the next week rated #3 in the state. Lost to Bryan and Curtis Dickey, 47-0 or something close to that score. Lost to Bryan again in bi-district, 21-6.
