  1. Could not agree more on PNG WAY TO MUCH TALENT to be playing this weak. when PNG played West Brook it look as if West Brook was calling the pitches. Coach Stone really needs to find away to bring this team together, getting Blake Buchanan back should help alot, will it cure all of the problems ???????????????
  2. Lot of good names, what about Branden Powell or Taylor McInnis Of PNG Harwood or Mire would not have 2/3 of their wins except for the job done by these guys in relife. Powell was hitting 84 at West Brool & Mcinnis was at 87-89.
  3. Are you sure that the games at Baytown Sterling are canceled.
  4. PNG faced Texas City in their 1st game tonight, the score was Texas City 8 PNG 6, Pitching was great C Mire started and went 2 / J Dommingues went 2 / K Abboit 2 defence was the big issue tonight PNG gave up 5 unearned runs 3 in the 1st and 1 in the 2nd, 1 in the 5th. The hitting is getting beter but stil has a ways to go. C Hearn & E Harrington went 2/3 In the 2nd game PNG faced Clear Brook, the sore was Clear Brook 4 PNG 2, B Powell went 6 allowing I believe 3 hits with double didget Ks, S Flores throw the 7th. Defence was the big problem once again, giving up a couple unearned runs late in the game. Hitting was a little better this game T McInnis was 2/3, B Powell had a single, PNG was hitting the ball hard just right at people.
  5. What a list !! It really makes a person proud to be from this area and have their childern play here. It is know wonder this area continues to trun out great athletes, with competition like that you have to good to play.

DH Sparks BC UTL Ayers WOS
  7. I as much as I can not wait for this season to start I already know it will be to short. I have spent the last 12 years watching all of these young men play at the highest of level. In 20-4A I think as everyone else dose that PNG & LCM have the upper hand with Nederland in 3rd. PNG pitching staff has got to be one of best as well as the deepest in school history if Cody,Zack,Brandon,Taylor can pick where they left off lasy year. The offence I think will be much more productive/clutch than last year, The defence will be solid, good speed not great. Blake is key behind the plate not just for his bat, I think the confindence that he gives to the pitchers is what PNG can afford to loose. LCM should strong as well, I think LCM is still looking for who will be the 2 in the 1/2 punch wyth Clayton. The offence should be evey bit as good as last year, the defence is basicly the same as it was last year great. Ned has a lot of work to do, Cody Iam sure that he is working everyone pretty hard. Holes to fill SS,3rd,1st,C,LF,CF, not to mention loosing Walker & Franze pitchers. Nederland had a strong JV team the question is how quickly the young players can adjust to varsity. Several names have been mentioned but I have not heard about Aaron Dalton, David Brady.
