  1. While I repsect your opinion about throwing, I personally like the ground and pound. This style takes the will to fight out of most teams. I would rather receivers go back to three pont stances like they used to in my day...Guess I am an oldie who loves bear bryant and woody hayes
  2. I personally enjoyed watching the slot t last night. Even though our guys were slower and smaller the offense gave us a chance to win. Think about this...West Brook only put up 26 on Ozen. I think we need to give our boys and our o line  some credit. I just love watching our boys beat a more athletic team. Give our backs some credit too.
  3. Hey rusted cutlass....don't you need to run some papers off...i told you a long time ago we don't need you as a fan, go find some other team to criticize.
  4. Great game by both teams tonight. I was very proud of our Pirates effort. I would like to take this time to call out Rusted Cutlass and Ggilbert. All you guys have done all year is bash our team. My son and his teammates put in alot of time and effort into each game. I appreciate the fans that support us through the good and the bad, but you two guys are what we call fence riders. I would personally like to see you'll pick another team. We don't need you. I do not know what the rest of the year will hold, but I know I will support my son, his teammates, and their coaches. I guess our chances were a little better than SLIM or NONE rusted. I suggest you go and find another team to root for. I hear west hardin are looking for aides.
  5. Guys  they had 14 total yards and no first downs.  Vidor offense had 208 yds on 35 plays ( almost 6 1/2 yds per play)  Vidors jv (white helmets) played half of the reps..  Its a scrimmage.  Both teams will be fine.
  6. Orangefield had 14 yards on 35 plays and no first downs
  7. Went to watch my son put the pads on today and had trouble finding them. After sitting in my truck for about thirty minutes I finally decided to walk around the campus. I found them on the GAME FIELD. Back in my day that was off limits to practice. I asked my son why they went to the game field, and he said because the practice field was in bad shape. It had rocks, sticks, and asphalt coming up on it. I then asked why not practice on the other practice field which looked in great shape. He said that was reserved for the band. I fully support the band because my daughter was in it a few years ago, but they almost always practiced in the school parking lot. I personally think this is crazy that our boys have to practice on a non regulation field that has rocks an sticks in it. This is football for crying out loud. Can we please fix the issue.
