I feel This series, If they put High School baseball on espn, would make the ESPN Classic channel Sunday morning.
We did beat him the second game and swept Orangefield
 2. I just wanted to post again I'm not measuring every pitcher against Hicks I was just stating that Statum and Angelle are not as good of pithcers as Matt Hicks and what does OF beating Hicks have to do with this.
 3.
Orangefield is too much for Jasper. If you can stop (20) Ty Parker and (5) Tyler Arndt you will be fine. Also OF just saw the best pitchers in the state and roped them.
Its Tyler Ernest and OF lost to Mexia's number one and they lost to WOS.
 4. Statum and Angelle are good pitchers but they are no Matt Hicks Jasper has proved that they can win against tough pitching.
 5. Jasper is going to be a tough team to beat come playoff time.  Coach Mixon always has the boys ready and being led by strong senior leadership the Bulldogs are poised to make a run for another ring.
 6. Parker- Jasper. The kid is a wall behind the plate with great arm and can swing the bat really well.
No disrespect.... some would disagree.... best catcher in the area is Ty Parker.  I have watched him play many years...Fine young man too!
No disrespect to Ty, but I am a Jasper fan all the way and Felts signing with UT speaks for itself.  Ty will be a fine college player himself.  He can just use the skills he has and that will do him just fine.
I have had a chance to watch both of them this year and neither was a disappointment.  Don't get me wrong Felts is a great player with a great bat but Parker is just as good if not better at the plate.
