Formerly Motorama Speedway, the renovated Golden Triangle Raceway Park will play host to one of the most exciting Sprint Car shows to hit Southeast Texas in over fifteen years! 15. I understand letting someone get a complete game and the WIN but when it gets down win or go home he should have pulled him at the first sign of trouble : : :
  16. Has Flores thrown the hole game ?????????? If so it is time for a change.
  17. We had about 65 karts show up for Saturday night. The track was a little dusty but that was ok because we made some changes to the set up and won our heat and feature. We will have another local points race there at the Port Artur track on Saturday May 5th. :o 15.01 second lap times = good racing, come out and watch.
  18. This weekend there will be a big race the local KART track in Port Acres on the corner of Jade RD. & Hwy 365. We will have hot laps at 6:30 PM and the racing is set to start at 7:00PM. We are supposed to have karts traveling from Houston, Tyler, Corpus Christi and also some from the Lafayette LA. area. Should be a lot of racers there this weekend. If you like racing you need to come out and check out how fast these karts are running. The karts are turning 12.7 second lap times, very good racing. Here is the web site, it has information and pictures of some karts. [Hidden Content] Hope to you guys out there.
  19. If we went and judge all the moms, dads, coaches and who ever on there jobs or at raising there kids (that could get UGLY), how would they like it if we picked them apart on every little thing they do wrong. It is tough to make the right every time something happens. I know we are supposed to be perfect on every call but the UMPIRES are only human, we will make mistakes.
  20. We went to this show and it was great. There were about 380 cars and trucks shooting for a spot on the final 16 and $10,000.00 dollars. When they got down to the final 16 I think they ran in the low 10's (not for sure on the times). The top 16 were matched so good that the car that lost each race got beat off the line(reaction time) The only problem in the whole show was trying to get out of the parking lot, it took about 1 1/2 hour leave. We are ready to do it again in 2 weekends for the NHRA nationals.
  21. There is a race track on Hwy365 and Jade road in Port Acres that has kart racing. We have kids from the ages of: 7 to 9 in the purple restrictor plate class 10 to 12 in the blue restrictor plate class 13 to 15 in the gold restrictor plate class Adult class is 15 on up, in an UNRESTRICTED class and we have different weight division's to run in. Check out the web site and come out and see these little guys going between 45 and 55 miles an hour and turning left. I will post more as the race dates get nearer. [Hidden Content]
