I see they have a DC job open. What is the status of this opening? What happened to the former DC, the length of assistant coaches there is not very long, what's the deal? Are things that bad there?

Coach Mahaffey is a proven and known commodity. He would be an excellent choice and is already there. Other candidates are also impressive, but Mahaffey is on the scene now, know what it takes to be successful, and is evidently willing. Also a real good man.

Baytown Sterling needs a change, the current HC has had plenty of time. Price is a proven HC that knows how to build a winning program, and it's very close. Bring a proven winner to Baytown Sterling that's not into ego.

Baytown Sterling needs some help! Coach Price could've had this job a few years back and I hope he's still interested in it. The current HC has had plenty of time with minimal results. Time for a change GCCISD, get Price while you can. If he'll take it. Sterling needs a change and this would be a great opportunity to get a proven head coach (which they don't have in charge now).
