  1. Ryan Donahoe (HJ). The kid is an awesome player, and by all accounts an excellent young man. Honorable Mentions to Thomas from EC and Letsinger from WH. Thomas is a great player and still has a year to improve. As for Letsinger, I would agree with whoever said he is probably the most valuable player in the area. He the reason for WH's success this year. And West Hardin fans, don't worry about ltown, I'm sure nobody takes him seriously.
  2. My candidates would be Sutherland (HJ), Joubert (KZ), Foster (Big Sandy), and Hargreaves (EC). It's true all these schools have great programs year in and year out, so some would say it's not the coaches. But these 4 coaches do a great job of building a program from the lower levels all the way up, and every year they have a full varsity squad that know how to play and can do it for 32 minutes. I also don't think it's a coincidence that Sutherland has coached at three of these schools. And I have to give an honorable mention to the force behind West Hardin's fabulous season .... Brandon Letsinger
  3. I saw these two teams play on the web and i'm looking forward to seeing them play in person. That Letsinger kid is awesome. I say West Hardin by 5.
  4. danbury won 20-18. hd missed a field goal at the end of the game. tough game for the bobcats to have to play. long drive for them, and not much time to prepare.
  5. good job ec on the win. congrats to deweyville on playing such a good game too. just a word of warning from the north part of newton county though. when warren, anahuac, or buna makes the playoffs, what does that mean for deweyville? means they probably get newton in the first round
