that is absurd. Kids get acustomed to winning. JV, freshman, whatever. if you really want to know. Liberty has a good junior class. They should be solid next year. Coldsprings will have some unbelievable athletes for the next 3 years and Cleveland will have kids that are amazing for the next 4. Clevelands 8th grade is awesome in BB and football.

then its scott. He plays both ways and dominated shepherd,liberty,tarkington,cleveland. Those others you mentioned did not do anything vs. Coldsprings or splendora.

I think that Byrd should be district mvp if he wins tonight and has a decent game.

who would deserve it then?? That was the initial question. Someone from a 4-6 or 3-7 or 5-5 team. The boy has put up more total yards in district than anybody. If it is anybody else than I would say it is the RB's from liberty, but how many yards did they put up against Coldspring or Splendora???

offensive MVP if Byrd gets Dist. MVP. Who else?? He has trown for over 100 on everyone in dist. No other player has been consistent in dist.

alot of good players coming back for coldspring. Brooks back @tarkington, Splendora needs to replace RB's, Shepherd has alot coming back, Cleveland has heavy.

not a player. Players dont make excuses. Players take the blame. You lost to coldsprings because you let #20 get loose, more times than Beatty, or Edwards. You lost because you fumbled. You talked trash just like they did. Except they backed it up. Quit worrying about coldsprings and start worrying about shepherd.

here is my prediction. Whoever completes the most passes will win. Both teams have a solid d-line, and lb's. I think if a DB falls asleep it could determine the outcome. I also believe that anyone wearing brushpoppers should be slapped repeatedly.

looky here drifter luke.. I said splendora would beat liberty by 20 and they did. Dont doubt my prediction skills. Cleveland game was not a blow out till late.

IF liberty's big 4 ( white, Edwards, beatty,Gee) step up like they did last week, then they should win big. Those 4 are pretty good ballers.

My hat is off to both of these teams. Neither team was close to the playoffs last year, and they both have gone threw some big changes. I'm going to take coldspring because of their speed. Should be a great game, especially if you like teams that run the ball.
