[/quote] Yes, the Evadale people keep posting how great their defense is....and for the playoffs, I hope that defense will carry them far, but if their offense is not strong, they won't get very far at all. I hope all of our 'home' teams make it far and healthy. The district game is going to be a different story for them. They have not faced an offense like these Bulldogs. Their defense will tire out from a strong running game.  Each time one of these quick rb bust thru a line - they will be gone. I don't think that most of these Rebel fans have seen these boys play. The Dogs defense will be rested from not having alot of playing time. They will do their job and stop the Rebels. I hope the Rebels have better luck in the playoff games. We will be pulling for you.

[/quote] First, I said they were hollaring  'to' the referees, not 'at' the referees. They were having a good time or at least seemed to. That's not a criticism. Most people who watch football and enjoy a good football game hollar for the team they are rooting for. If I were them, I would have been pullng for HI also. But, if it was not the coaches and players, I stand corrected. They just gave the impression that they were the coaches since they were about 4 dressed in Evadale caps and jackets, one holding a folder or clipboard,  sitting behind the boys from Evadale. They were half of the opposing side. No need to be defensive, it was just an observation.  ::)

In spite of that, it turned into a great fb game. I don't think you should worry about Evadale giving it up before they step out unto the field.....they were all there studying the Bulldog players. So, I'm sure they are going to try their hardest. A win is a win is a win.

hmmm...Colmesneil will be coming in as the underdogs on Nov 6. I think they like it that way. I'm sure the coaches and young players of Evadale will learn everything they can about our Bulldogs. They must be very concerned about being beat out by these speedy underdogs. :)

Sure, it will be a close game. I think all these boys will be playing their hearts out. Can Evadale's defense contain the Dog's speed? Probably not. Expect to see Colmesneil's defense shut down the Rebels. Every week, the Dogs defense gets stronger and stronger. Either way, all the young athletes have alot to be proud of. Hopefully, they all will have the determination to win until the end of the game.
